This was my first time trying a MAC palette, and I was impressed with the color payoff. I personally love brown shades, so the color combination really appealed to me. What's great is that there are plenty of base colors, so you won't run out of one shade while the others remain untouched! The palette even comes with a mirror, which is a nice touch. The case is too long, making it impractical for on-the-go use. If you drop it while carrying it around, everything could shatter... So I absolutely can't take it with me when I'm out and about. I appreciate that they included a lot of frequently used base shades. It shows they really put thought into creating a well-rounded combination. However, it's just too long to recommend as a portable option.

With MAC, you'll use every single one. The application is flawless - no excess powder, excellent adherence, smooth blending, and intense pigmentation. MAC's signature feature is their subtle, highlighter-like shimmer particles that delicately sparkle across the shadows. But that's not all - each shade has three types of shimmer: fine glitter, subtle sheen, and statement sparkle. It's simply unparalleled. The price point is steep, but it's worth the investment. I just wish they offered a wider variety of palettes. As someone with monolids, I usually stick to brown and red-brown shades, but I love the color combination in this palette. I've been using it daily. I think it's a great value for the price. However, it's a bit disappointing that the colors I use most often come in smaller pans, while the shades I'm less likely to use are given larger spaces. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 19, 2020
The color payoff is excellent, with a lovely orange to coral range that I'd recommend for those who love vibrant makeup. It's got a nice mix of matte, shimmer, and glitter shades, plus there's a shadow perfect for smudging eyeliner. This palette is ideal for those who prefer bold, colorful looks over subtle everyday makeup. Two of the shadows with larger glitter particles can look a bit messy rather than polished. There's no real base shade, and the large pan that seems to be a highlighter is too pigmented to use as one, which is a bit disappointing.

The 23 shade is especially flattering on darker complexions! The blush is gorgeous too! It breaks easily... Don't drop it like I did. The blush shattered completely and was ruined. I absolutely love the leopard print case! While it's a bit on the pricey side, the color selection is so perfect that I feel it's worth every penny. When I use the black shade for eyeliner, it tends to fall out under my eyes. I have to tap off the excess several times before applying. I love that it comes with various types of shades, the colors are absolutely gorgeous, and the pigmentation is fantastic. I've used many MAC eyeshadows individually before, but strangely, on days when I use this product, my eyes become extremely dry and painful. It's puzzling because the matte texture shouldn't have any excess powder fallout, so I'm not sure why this is happening.

I wish the first shade came in an even larger pan! That first color is truly heart-stopping. While the others are pleasantly versatile and beautiful, that first shade just completely stole my heart, so I had to buy it right away. MAC eyeshadows seem to be a sure bet no matter which one you choose. I highly recommend trying at least one! If you're not a fan of paper packaging, you might not be too keen on this line. The color payoff is strong across the board. Almost all the shadows have shimmer, making this palette great for creating eye-catching looks. It doesn't include any shades that would work well as base colors.
