Affordable price with generous quantity Helps soothe blemishes and provides hydration Great for wiping with a cotton pad or as a DIY sheet mask by soaking a cotton pad If I had to nitpick, the lid could use some improvement Overall, I'm so satisfied with this product that I don't have many complaints - re********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 9, 2020
A beast-sized skin toner with an incredibly affordable price for its volume! I bought it at Olive Young for less than 10,000 won and it lasted nearly 6 months! Although it's labeled as an emulsion, based on its texture and effects, I think it's more appropriate to consider it a toner. It smooths out skin texture, and thanks to its generous volume, it's perfect for a quick skin pack on busy mornings - just soak a cotton pad and apply. Layering it multiple times leaves your skin feeling soft and silky smooth. When you follow up with an ampoule or essence, it absorbs even better than usual. It's great to keep one on hand for liberal use. Maybe it's because I have dry skin, but no matter how much I layer it, it can't quite tackle deep dryness. This seems more like a limitation of toners in general, rather than this specific product. Be careful not to mistakenly buy this thinking it's an emulsion - check the texture carefully! This is essentially a toner! Although it's marketed as a whitening product, I've been using it consistently but can't really notice any brightening effects... As you might guess from the price, there are a few ingredients to be cautious about. The biggest drawback is the concern about radiation since it's made in Japan... However, it is produced in the Osaka region, which is known to have less radiation impact. - For a skin pack: Soak a cotton pad generously and leave it on your face for 5 minutes. It's perfect to do while blow-drying your hair. - Layering technique: Apply thin layers multiple times for better absorption. - Use with ampoules: Enhances ampoule absorption and creates great synergy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2020
I snagged this large-sized toner at Olive Young for just 2,000 won - what a steal! I've been using it for over three months now. Honestly, I can't think of any downsides. It's a bit light, so I mixed in some hyaluronic acid serum for extra hydration. Try adding hyaluronic acid or madecassoside serum to your toner. It works so well that you might not even need expensive skincare products anymore. Your skin will improve dramatically! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 3, 2020
The quantity is generous. It felt like I was just applying water to my face... To be honest, I'm not sure what's good about this product. I use it because my face feels dry and I think I should at least have some kind of toner, but I can't really find any notable benefits. Somehow, I've noticed an increase in blemishes. - al******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 12, 2020
It goes on without any stickiness and feels silky smooth. Soaking a cotton pad and using it as a quick morning mask is great. Perfect for summer! It even works well when applied to the body. The value for money is unbeatable! The downside is that it's not very hydrating. I use it because I like how light and non-sticky it is, but it's completely unsuitable for winter use. - ss*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2020
It feels more like a watery toner than an emulsion. When layered multiple times and followed with a cream, it leaves my skin deeply hydrated! I think I might be getting some minor blemishes, but that's probably due to my own skin condition. Apart from that, I can't think of any other downsides! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 27, 2019
Generous amount. Affordable price. Lightweight formula. I bought this for a quick skin pack, but for some reason, when I soak a cotton pad and apply it, my face feels slightly numb, like I've applied anesthetic cream. There's no real soothing effect, so I've decided to toss it out. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2019
The large size makes it perfect for doing skin packs! Since I use products with rich textures in my skincare routine, I first apply this product as a pack to boost hydration, then follow up with a rich cream. It works great for me! I wish it came in an even larger size! It's just an affordable, large-volume toner, so I don't really have any major complaints. I apply this as a skin pack while blow-drying my hair! This helps prevent moisture loss from my skin during the drying process. - ge******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2019
I want to give a wake-up call to my past self who bought this product at a cheap price, thinking it was from the same brand as Hatomugi. The stress this product caused me was unreal. I thought it was because of air pollution, so I changed my cleanser and cream. When summer came, I even bought a shower filter thinking the water didn't suit me. Stupidly, I didn't realize all this happened after I changed my skin product. My facial redness that had disappeared came back, and it felt like each pore on my face was filled with water, forming blisters. Blisters and scabs appeared on places I didn't even know had pores, like under my fingernails and on my arms. My skin became hard, developed terrible dead skin cells, was constantly itchy, and became even more sensitive. Since I've had food allergy tests before, I can't believe it's a rice bran allergy. Phenoxyethanol is the third ingredient... why didn't I check the ingredients list? Anyway, I'm giving up on using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2019
To be honest, I initially bought this because of its affordable price and large quantity. Surprisingly, despite having used many emulsions before, I always felt they were heavy and caused an oil explosion on my skin. That's why I usually stick to layering light toners multiple times. However, this product turned out to be perfect for me! It's a water-based toner, so it's lightweight, provides decent hydration, and doesn't leave any rich feeling on my skin. I'm really happy with it! If there's one drawback, it's that you need to apply it multiple times. One or two layers just don't seem to cut it, unfortunately.
