This one is good to apply thoroughly between the scalp when showering at night,

Also, for those of us with scalp troubles, it's important to thoroughly wet the scalp when shampooing, and let the product sit for a few minutes for maximum effect. 
You can find videos online demonstrating the proper shampooing technique - 5 minutes to wet, 5 minutes to shampoo, and 5 minutes to rinse. While I couldn't quite manage that much time, I tried to do at least 3 minutes, and the results were noticeably better.
Be sure to rinse thoroughly and dry your hair completely, as that also helps greatly reduce the dandruff.

The price is definitely the biggest issue.

If you want to intensively manage your scalp, you can use it every day for 2 weeks! Otherwise, you can use it 3 times a week and alternate it with other products. Davines was able to control the large and painful pimples that Shiseido couldn't. I've never had any pimples on my scalp since using Davines. I strongly recommend it to those with a lot of pimples~!
