This is the ultimate primer! I've tried Porefessional and Maybelline, but they were all mediocre. This one is truly the best. It's so thick and creamy that it fills in all your pores perfectly. In reality, you only use a tiny bit of primer each time, so the fact that this only contains 10ml is actually a plus. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2019
Among pore primers, this one seems pretty decent. I think it covers pores even better than Benefit's. Like most primers, it can make your skin feel a bit suffocated if you use it daily. It's best to use just a small amount, focusing only on areas with visible pores. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2019
I'm really enjoying this product. While I don't have blemishes, my biggest skin concern is large pores. When I apply this before makeup, it does a great job of concealing my pores and even reduces the appearance of excess oil. It's a win-win! The downside is that it tends to pill when mixed with foundation. I recommend applying this product thoroughly first, letting it absorb well, and then following up with your foundation. For a porcelain-like complexion, try applying a thin layer around areas with visible pores before putting on foundation. - wj********Normal SkinFeb 28, 2018
Among the famous primers that conceal pores, I've tried them all, but this is a hidden gem far superior to Benefit. Paul & Joe isn't well-known in our country, so many people don't know about it. I hesitated to write this review because I wanted to keep it to myself, but here goes. I've mainly used primers from Benefit and Maybelline, but these products have a common disappointing point: their texture isn't thick enough, so if you apply it incorrectly, your pores become visible again. No matter how many layers you apply, the coverage doesn't improve. However, after using Paul & Joe, I realized that the most important thing for easily concealing pores is a thick texture that doesn't break down. This is crucial, everyone! The thickness and viscosity are key! This product covers pores easily with just a small amount. Its thick consistency maintains coverage even with multiple layers without breaking down! In fact, the coverage gets even better! Of course, if you apply it too thickly, it might look cakey, so controlling the amount is essential. Paul & Joe products are incredibly popular in Japan, but not so well-known in Korea, so it feels like I have a hidden gem all to myself. For those who prefer a smooth, matte skin finish over a dewy, glowing look, I recommend this product for base and foundation too. The skin finish is quite unique. It gives a smooth, matte appearance as if you naturally have good skin, without looking cakey, and it really holds the makeup in place. It creates a porcelain-like skin finish. That's probably why the primer is so good too. There weren't many downsides. However, Paul & Joe doesn't have many stores, so you'll need to buy it online. The most important point to note is that if you apply powder over this product, it can become very cakey, so be careful. Due to its thick texture, it doesn't seem to work well with powder products. The same goes for compact foundations. I avoid patting powder on the areas where I've applied the primer.
