It truly delivers on its promises. The texture is rich and creamy, reminiscent of concentrated cream cheese. While it's not the type that instantly melts into your skin, it works wonders on extremely dry and rough hands, especially those frequently exposed to water. My mom absolutely loves it too! If you struggle with rough and dehydrated skin on the back of your hands, this is a must-try.
ConsIt's unscented (which could be seen as a plus), but the texture is quite thick. This isn't the kind of product you'd casually toss in your handbag for quick, on-the-go application.

A little goes a long way, so it lasts for ages.
ConsIt's quite thick and slightly sticky, which makes it less ideal for frequent use throughout the day. However, it works great when applied before bed.
TipFor best results, spread it on your hands, put on plastic gloves, and leave for about 10 minutes. Then either let it absorb or rinse off.

ConsIt's a bit inconvenient to open and close the lid. The texture is quite thick, so it tends to get stuck under my nails.
TipI found that applying it with the back of my nails instead of my fingertips helps prevent it from getting stuck under my nails.

However, since the initial application feels a bit odd, I mix it with a light hand cream. Works like a charm!
ConsThe downside is that it has a slightly sour scent and feels a bit thick when first applied!

I've tried countless hand creams, meticulously comparing them, but none truly satisfied me. I specifically looked for unscented products that weren't slippery, felt fresh, and didn't slide off when my hands got wet or sweaty. Then I discovered the Working Hands cream at Olive Young. After testing it, I loved it so much that I immediately bought it and have gone through countless tubes since! As mentioned, my hands used to be extremely dry, rough, and cracked due to constant water exposure, even in summer. This product is incredibly hydrating! It feels like it forms a protective layer over my hands. Most products are moisturizing but become annoyingly slippery with the slightest touch of water. This one, however, has zero slip once absorbed. It's unscented and has significantly improved the condition of my hands! My sister noticed the difference in my hands and said I made an excellent choice with this hand cream. Now we both use it. I recommended it to a friend who found the name unique and the product effective. I highly recommend it to everyone - use it consistently, and you'll see results!
ConsIf you apply it thickly, it takes a while to absorb. The texture is different from regular hand creams - it's more like a thick whipped cream, so it feels a bit heavy when applied. It's more of a balm-type product, so it doesn't have that instant, smooth absorption feeling of lighter lotions. That's a bit disappointing... However, there's no better product out there! You might need to use it in combination with a more emulsion-type product.
TipWhen my hands are very dry, or in winter, or before bed, I first apply a thin layer of Working Hands cream. I massage it into my palms, the back of my hands, and between my fingers until it's absorbed. Then, I apply a regular emulsion-type hand cream (I use Bioderma) on top for extra moisture!

While my skin isn't extremely dry, my hands turn into turtle shells during seasonal changes and winter. As the elderly would say, it's like ice has formed on them. When this season comes and my skin starts flaking like I'm malnourished, I often find myself hiding my hands in crowded places. The light hand cream I used at work couldn't cover the itchiness from dryness, so I chose this 'balm' formulation for its richer texture. I'm satisfied as it solved my biggest problem! Highly recommended for those sensitive to fragrances. It's unscented!!!
ConsIt's not an emulsion-type that absorbs immediately, but rather a hand balm you need to work into the skin, with a thick consistency. While it's not overly greasy, there's a slight stiffness and slipperiness left on the palms. I don't mind it, but individual experiences may vary, so keep this in mind.
TipPersonally, I think L'Occitane is the best. However, if you're sensitive to ingredients, please make sure to check before using. (It can be a bit disappointing when you find out...)
