The fragrance is pleasant and it's gentle enough for babies to use without irritation. Even when sprayed, it doesn't seem to have much effect. I guess it's more of a psychological comfort. - ji*******Normal SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 4, 2020
I've been using this as a mosquito repellent for my whole family every summer since I bought it when my baby was born, thanks to its safe ingredients. It contains citronella oil, lemongrass oil, and cedar essential oil. When we go out, I mainly spray it on the baby's clothes or hat, and at bedtime, I spray it on the blanket. Being an American product, the price is a bit on the steep side. Since it's in spray form, to avoid getting it in your eyes when applying to your face, first spray it on your hands and then apply it to your face. - ki*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 4, 2020
It's gentle and doesn't cause any blemishes. The citrus scent is pleasant and not overwhelming. Be careful not to inhale it when spraying, as it might make you sneeze. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 11, 2019
It's great that it comes in various sizes - the smaller ones are perfect for carrying around. The spray is easy to use, and I appreciate that the scent isn't overpowering. I sprayed it over my clothes on my arms and legs, but it left wet marks on my face. My knees got a bit damp too. The scent isn't particularly strong, so areas where it doesn't spray evenly seem to attract mosquitoes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2019
I've been consistently using this product as a mosquito repellent. My child shows severe allergic reactions when bitten, with significant swelling and even impetigo. I mainly use it on my 4 and 7-year-old kids, and it definitely reduces mosquito bites. Thankfully, according to the Hwahae app, the ingredients themselves aren't bad! It's a bit pricier compared to other repellents. The scent is also quite strong and might be polarizing. I initially disliked the intense fragrance, but I've gotten used to it now and find it okay. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2019
I've been using this for over 3 years. After spraying this, I've hardly ever been bitten by mosquitoes. When summer comes, I stock up and keep one in every bag and even in the car. It's an absolute summer essential. The scent is quite strong. Although it's said to be harmless to humans, the sharp, pungent smell makes me a bit cautious about spraying it when there are people around. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 11, 2018
In Bali, I practically drenched myself with this, applied SPF 50+ sunscreen, and topped it off with sun spray before dashing out to play. Guess what? Not a single mosquito bite! For someone who's usually a mosquito magnet, this was a real win. I highly recommend it to surf and beach enthusiasts. As someone who loves spending summer outdoors, I'm just grateful for such a skin-friendly insect repellent. If I had to nitpick, the scent is a bit strong. But then again, this is true for all mosquito repellents, so it's not really a flaw specific to this product. After all, how can you repel insects with a pleasant fragrance when they're attracted to human skin by smell? If you want to protect your blood, your nose has to make a sacrifice too! For better effectiveness, try spraying it lightly on your clothes as well, not just your skin. - je******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsSep 17, 2017
I was skeptical when a friend recommended this, but after trying it, I'm absolutely in love and will definitely repurchase! The scent is milder compared to other brands, and most importantly, it doesn't pill at all! Even the adults in my family have started using it. If I had to point out a downside, it might be that the fragrance is weaker than other adult products, so you may need to reapply more frequently. Oh, and if you're prone to losing caps like me, the lid design might be a bit inconvenient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 10, 2017
First off, the fragrance is lovely. It seems the scent needs to be maintained for the product to be effective, so I reapply it every couple of hours during long outings. This is definitely a product I find myself purchasing again and again. While it feels moisturizing when applied, there's a slight sticky feeling, making a shower afterwards a must. I've tried other products too, but they all seem to have that same stickiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 19, 2017
The fragrance was lovely. It also provides some protection against mosquitoes. Since it's a spray type, it tends to dissipate quickly. You need to reapply frequently, which I found inconvenient.
