As someone trying this incredibly soft eyeshadow for the first time, I'm in love with the color payoff. Personally, I have puffy eyelids, so I usually avoid shimmery shadows as they make my eyes look swollen. After trying countless matte shadows, I've finally settled on Ginger. The case is luxurious, and I adore the built-in mirror. When I'm short on time or in a rush, applying just this one shadow creates a natural, sultry look without making me appear too tired!
ConsAs soft as it is, there's a lot of excess powder fallout... It feels like half of what I apply ends up on my face instead. The price is also quite steep, unfortunately.
TipWhile Ginger is nice, I'm currently using Innisfree's Soft Milk Chocolate as a budget-friendly alternative! The fine texture and color are practically identical, and it's much more affordable.

I usually don't wear blush and wanted to avoid overly intense color, but this gives a beautiful, sophisticated apricot hue.
ConsIt's not quite the fresh, vibrant makeup look that suits spring. This would probably work better in autumn.

The powder is noticeably finer and feels different when applied. While it's a bit darker than expected, it has a luxurious finish.
ConsThe color was more intense than anticipated, making it tricky to control at first. It appears slightly darker than the swatch suggests.

It gives a natural shading effect that feels much more sophisticated compared to other eyeshadows. There's no excess powder fallout, and you can achieve a clean and fresh makeup look using just this one product.
ConsThe price... It's the first time I've spent this much on an eyeshadow. Haha!
TipIf you blend this with a purple (sweet potato color) shade slightly at the outer corner of your eyes, it creates a sultry winter makeup look that's really lovely.

I didn't notice much when testing it in-store, but it's truly an excellent product for daily use. So many people have asked me what eyeshadow I'm wearing since I started using this! It's a color that complements warm-toned individuals beautifully.
ConsWhen applied with a brush, it tends to create excess powder, so I prefer to apply it with my fingers instead.

It's also lovely when applied as an eyeshadow alongside ginger shades.
ConsThe color payoff seems a bit weak on my skin, possibly because I have a slightly darker complexion. However, this is likely due to my skin tone rather than the product itself.

Despite having a bright skin tone, I use this every single day in fall and winter to contour my cheekbones. It definitely has a contouring effect and gives a luxurious glow with colors and pearls you can't find in drugstore brands. Laura Mercier truly has incredibly fine particles. It's incomparable to MAC and similar to Bobbi Brown. When I use Laura Mercier Fresh Ginger as a blush and Laura Mercier Ginger as a base eyeshadow, it creates an elegant and subtle makeup look. I'm extremely satisfied... The amount is surprisingly generous too.
ConsIt's tricky to control the amount. You need to tap the brush once, then shake it off two or three times before applying. The downside is that you end up wasting more powder in the air than what actually goes on your face. But since it's hard to find a product this good, I just accept it and use it anyway.
TipMake sure to tap off the excess from the brush before applying it directly to your face.

However, when I applied it to my cheeks after foundation, the color payoff was a lighter orange (with a slight flush). The texture is incredibly fine and has a subtle, luminous pearl finish. It's truly a high-quality product that I can trust to purchase again.
ConsThe packaging is really disappointing. Since the eyeshadow and blush have the same type of case, I have to read the label and check carefully before opening the lid. It would be great if the case color was visible.
TipThe eyeshadow and blush work in perfect harmony together! For those with flushed complexions who find blush difficult to apply, this blush is perfect for you!
