A pearl blush with a lighter ginger tone and a fine shimmer finish. If it doesn't suit your cheeks, it looks beautiful when applied to the eyes. If ginger tones don't work for you, there's a high chance this won't either. Also, it's been discontinued... I really can't understand why they discontinued Baroque and Fresh Ginger. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2019
First off, it's a subtle apricot-ivory shade that blends seamlessly with my skin, making it my go-to for daily use. While there's a bit of excess powder, you only need a small amount for a natural-looking color payoff, which I absolutely love. Honestly, as this is my favorite from the Laura Mercier line, I don't have any real complaints. It's hard to find pretty eyeshadows without shimmer these days, but this one is matte, has minimal fallout, great color payoff, and looks natural. I could go on and on about its advantages. However, I think these very strengths might be considered drawbacks for those who prefer different characteristics in their eyeshadow. - le*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 18, 2019
- Perfect color for autumn warm skin tones. - The pigmentation is exceptionally beautiful. - The texture is finely milled. There's nothing disappointing about the product's performance, but if I had to nitpick, it's that the case looks identical to the eyeshadow one, which can be confusing during use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2018
I was torn between Warm Soul and Fresh Ginger, but ultimately chose Fresh Ginger as it had a more appealing yellow undertone. The coral color with gold shimmer is absolutely stunning! True to Laura Mercier's reputation, the powder has a beautifully fine texture. It's versatile enough to be used as an eyeshadow too. You might think it's not showing up at first, but before you know it, you've turned into a baked sweet potato! It's a bit tricky to blend out smoothly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2018
The color is absolutely gorgeous - exactly the shade I've been looking for! It's a bit brighter than I expected, which might be because my complexion is on the darker side. So I mix it with a darker shade when I use it. The price point is a bit disappointing. It would be great if they offered a palette with smaller amounts of various shades - that's my only real gripe. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2018
Despite having oily skin, it stays on my cheeks for quite a long time. There's no caking, so I can easily apply it with a brush even after using a moisturizing base. The compact case makes it convenient to carry around. The only downside is that there's a bit of excess powder fallout... But the pigmentation is so good, I can overlook that. I think this color would look beautiful in autumn and winter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2018
This blush is absolutely gorgeous! It's the most stunning peach-toned blush I own. The subtle shimmer doesn't emphasize pores, and it doesn't look heavy on the skin. I'm using it regularly and highly recommend it! Well... if I had to mention something, there's a tiny bit of excess powder. - al******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2018
The color payoff is great! I love that the shade is quite unique. There's a bit of excess powder fallout and it feels slightly drying.... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 1, 2018
The color payoff is absolutely fantastic... To that extent...? Haha Haha, on me, it appears quite warm-toned. Personally, I prefer matte blushes, but this one has some gold-like shimmer. Since my eye makeup is usually in the beige-brown family, adding this warm-toned blush makes everything feel too hot and heavy. This would likely suit those with tanned skin and a sexy vibe, applied diagonally on the cheekbones. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 18, 2018
This is my personal favorite blush. It's great as an eyeshadow for adding depth, and when applied connecting to the contour on the cheekbones, it looks very natural. It has a slight shimmer, but not the kind that emphasizes pores. It creates a lovely ambiance when worn in autumn. I recommend Fresh Ginger over Ginger, as it's more versatile and can be used as an eyeshadow too! Apart from the price, I can't really find any drawbacks. It would be great if they offered a smaller version like Benefit does, and lowered the price accordingly. I recommend purchasing this at duty-free shops.
