It had a carbonated sensation, and there really was carbonation! My face felt a bit tingly after use. Personally, I didn't find anything disappointing about this product at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2020
I have blemish-prone skin that's sensitive to stress and hormonal changes. This product is amazing. While its only benefit is soothing, if it suits your skin, the results are incredible. It's meant to be applied on areas prone to blemishes. I was intrigued by the fact that you have to make the mask yourself, so I bought it, and I'm so glad I did. As I'll mention later, it can be a bit scary when you first use it, but if you can get past that, there's no better mask for calming the skin. When that time of the month comes, I get a ton of blemishes on my cheeks and chin due to hormonal imbalance. This time, I had three major blemishes, so I decided to give it a try, and the results were mind-blowing. One was already fully formed, and the others were just starting to appear, with my whole cheek area looking red. After using this, the redness completely disappeared, and the emerging blemishes retreated. The one that had already formed was still there, but... For those who get different types of blemishes in various areas, it's great to use one at a time, making it last longer. Making the mask is actually fun! Maybe it's just me, but... I'm even keeping the leftover syringes as souvenirs, which feels oddly satisfying. The first impression can be a bit scary... When you use it, it feels like your skin is on fire, and it stings and hurts a lot. I was told this wasn't because it didn't suit my skin, but rather because the worse your skin condition, the more intense the reaction. So I kept using it, and then came another surprising moment. When you slightly peel off the mask, you'll see that the area where it was applied is extremely red and inflamed. But apparently, this isn't an adverse reaction either... It's quite suspicious, but ultimately, after a few minutes, it calms down, and your skin actually ends up properly soothed. The process is as challenging as the results are extreme... But strangely, I find it addictive and can't give it up. The tingling sensation on your face is due to the carbonation. When applying the mask, don't forget to press it down a bit. The carbonation will pop, which is said to enhance the effectiveness. It's fun too! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 26, 2019
It would be helpful if you could make a judgment based on the photos. I'm currently trying to find the reason. I'm in the middle of a dermatologist appointment and contacting customer service. Waiting for their response. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 30, 2018
Even though I have sensitive skin that's prone to excess oil, this seems to help with daily sebum control. I noticed my complexion looking clearer, and it seemed to reduce both oiliness and the appearance of pores. It stings quite a bit when applying. But hey, if it makes me look better, I can handle a little discomfort! I cut out heart shapes from the paper with small scissors and applied them evenly to areas with lots of sebum - the T-zone, butterfly zone on the nose, chin, jawline, and forehead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2018
Just the fun of bubbles popping? If you ask about its effects, not much to say really. It's disappointing that it doesn't have any noticeable effects... I wonder if it's just me or... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 30, 2018
It doesn't live up to expectations... Just expensive for what it is. It stings terribly. Be extra careful around delicate areas like under the eyes. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2018
It was just okay. Nothing special happened, but I felt a slight calming effect. I didn't really notice any skin improvement. It stung a bit, which made me worry about potential irritation. - 02******Combination SkinJan 29, 2018
There's absolutely nothing good to say about this product. Not a single positive thing, unfortunately. I've had great experiences with other 23years old products like Seabuckthorn, Badecasil, Badecasil Cera 3, Navi Pack, and Fergilous, so I had high hopes when I bought this. While I don't typically have acne-prone skin and only get occasional blemishes, this product caused severe redness on my face. At first, I thought it might be a temporary flushing effect, but the next morning, the areas where I applied the mask were covered in yellow, pus-filled pimples. Large blemishes appeared, my makeup wouldn't stick at all, and I felt so depressed that I went to a dermatologist. I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis. The doctor said it would be difficult to cure completely. Now I'm on steroid medication and have to go twice a week for soothing treatments and anti-inflammatory injections. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 12, 2018
This is seriously amazing! I have combination dehydrated skin with blemishes, and after just one use, my small bumps disappeared and my existing blemishes faded noticeably! Plus, the day after using this mask, my skin felt incredibly smooth. The Hwahae Testers, it's on sale at Olive Young for 4,400 won until January 31st - run, don't walk! If I had to nitpick, I'd say it tingles a bit because of the carbonation... But that's really the only thing. Gently pat the mask every 3-4 minutes! It's a carbonated mask, so this helps it work even better.
