It's extremely lightweight when used on its own. Make sure to patch test before using it to see if it suits your skin.

I'm not sure what the issue was, but whenever I applied this, my skin would tingle and turn red. Even though everyone says the ingredients are gentle and mild, when I used it before bed, I'd wake up with itchy skin. I had to stop using it after just two applications.

While there are no harmful ingredients, I have dry and sensitive skin, and ingredients that clog pores don't suit me. In this product's case, maybe because of the shea butter, I noticed a few small bumps appearing. When applied, it doesn't give a shiny finish but rather a more matte and silky-looking texture. Since I prefer a glowy look, I wasn't too fond of this aspect either.

I really liked that the ingredients are gentle and the packaging is clean and simple.

Because it's so light, it's not moisturizing enough on its own. You'll need to apply an additional cream. For me, the sea salt seemed to cause deep dryness and redness, possibly due to sensitivity

In the morning, I apply it with a day cream, and in the evening with a night cream or sea salt cream. This routine leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated, as if I've had a restful sleep. It works wonders when used after a toner or SK-II essence, followed by an ampoule essence.

The entire line has a slightly off-putting scent. It's not great, but it's not as pungent as the SK-II essence.

Even as the weather's getting hot and humid, which usually triggers breakouts, my skin feels incredibly comfortable with only minor, quickly-fading blemishes. The ingredients must be as good as they say, and it even has a 3-month shelf life, which really boosts my confidence in it. In my opinion, this single product outperforms all the expensive cosmetics I've used before. What's more, when I apply it in the morning along with La Mer day cream or sea salt cream, my skin has a beautiful glow even with makeup on. It's fantastic that I don't even need to buy a separate glowy foundation!

After a while, it can feel a bit rich on the skin. Because of this, I don't apply it in the morning and only use it at night before bed.

I'm not entirely sure... Perhaps that it doesn't really cause blemishes? And the fact that it's made in Germany...

While this product works well for me, I found that the Cica Salt Emulsion didn't suit my skin. I'll need to investigate why. One downside is that it can pill when applying makeup, so I have to remove it before putting on cosmetics. Despite this inconvenience, it's still worth using because of how good it is for my skin.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I used to rely solely on Dr. Jart+. However, after a bad experience with hair products that left my skin extremely sensitive, even Dr. Jart+ became too harsh. This product was my last hope, and it's been a game-changer! Not only does it soothe my skin, but it also has regenerative properties that have transformed my once-tight skin into baby-soft smoothness.

I don't really recommend it. I haven't used it for long, but the Sea Salt seems to be the best among La Marine products. It's out of stock now, so I'm not sure about the current formulation.

It causes small bumps and whiteheads. When you rub it in, it pills. If you're going to wear makeup, it will pill, so only buy this if you plan to use it at night. It forms a film like a healing ointment.

I'm not sure yet. The Sea Salt one seems better. I've tried almost all La Marine products except for the Salt, but they weren't great.
