  Pros

  It applies more lightly than the sea salt cream, making it easier to spread

  Cons

  Because it's so light, it's not moisturizing enough on its own. You'll need to apply an additional cream. For me, the sea salt seemed to cause deep dryness and redness, possibly due to sensitivity

  Pros

  I'm not entirely sure... Perhaps that it doesn't really cause blemishes? And the fact that it's made in Germany...

  Cons

  It makes my skin feel extremely tight. Don't expect much in terms of hydration. The texture is more like an emulsion than a cream, so it feels closer to a lightweight lotion. After applying this, you'll likely need to layer on another cream. Even as I'm using it now, my skin feels tight.

  Pros

  It absorbs well, though there's a bit of pilling when applied. It's best to use small amounts and layer it multiple times. The skin-soothing effect is really excellent!

  Cons

  The hydration could be better, but you can always use it alongside other moisturizing products.

  Pros

  It absorbs well, has no artificial fragrance, and leaves your skin feeling refreshed after application.

  Cons

  It feels thinner than a day or night cream and is less hydrating. Using this alone isn't enough. Despite being called an SOS Repair Cream, I didn't really notice any repairing effects. Among La Marin's moisturizers, I probably wouldn't specifically choose this one.

  Pros

  It seems perfect for morning use. The hydration is decent, and I especially loved that it's fragrance-free. It also appears to have some skin-soothing effects. I've been using it for about a week, but I feel I need to use it longer to fully assess its benefits.

  Cons

  I've tried many La Mer products, and this one seems less hydrating compared to their Sea Salt Cream. The price point is also a bit steep for my liking.

  Tip

  I apply this in the morning, while at night I use the richer Sea Salt Cream for deeper hydration.
