I've been happily using multiple bottles of Bioderma, but this product is just as good! I use it as my first toner after cleansing, and I'm extremely satisfied with how it's not too light and provides a surge of hydration that feels amazing. 1. The consistency is between a water-based toner and a milky toner. As soon as you apply it, it feels cool, calming redness and refining skin texture. It absorbs quickly, leaving your skin hydrated and velvety smooth. 2. It has a refreshing, pleasant scent perfect for summer. There's a sweet note with a hint of ocean breeze or cool water fragrance that lifts your mood every time you use it. 3. It works well for my dry skin and my sister's oily skin too. It seems to be a versatile product suitable for various skin types without much fuss. It's so hydrating and absorbs well that I didn't find any particular downsides. Since the formula is quite fluid, you tend to use it generously. It would be nice if it came in a larger size. It might not be a groundbreaking tip since others have mentioned it, but applying this toner to a cotton pad and leaving it on your skin as a mask makes your complexion incredibly smooth and hydrated. Some call it the '7-skin method' - you're supposed to leave it on for at least 7 seconds, then gently pat it in. Personally, I found this technique amazing for calming redness and creating the perfect canvas for makeup.

But this toner has a typical consistency when applying. Surprisingly, it leaves the skin feeling very moisturized despite not being runny. It's fascinating how it manages to be so hydrating! Because it adds so much hydration at the toner step, I noticed my subsequent creams seemed to absorb better too. As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts quickly to harsh cleansing toners, I found this one to be quite gentle. While it's good value for an imported cosmetic product, I wish there were more discount promotions available. I've seen promotions for other products, but not so many for this toner. I found this toner while searching for one suitable for the 7-skin method, and it was pleasantly satisfactory! It's not irritating, and I felt my skin becoming plump and firm even without applying it seven times. Fortunately, despite some caution-worthy ingredients, my skin didn't react negatively. I'm quite satisfied overall! The only downside was that the cap was a bit tight to close. But since it's not meant for travel, I can't really call it a flaw. Luckily, it works well for my skin! I mainly use this with a cotton pad. The first thing that strikes me is the lovely scent! It's like capturing the essence of the sea - should I call it refreshing? It truly gives an invigorating feeling. The absorption and application are also great. After applying toner, when I put on essence, it doesn't pill and seems to absorb well, so I'm using it with satisfaction. It doesn't have the feel of a skin milk. I'd recommend this to those who prefer to use essence or nourishing creams richly. It's good for those who like a lightweight application. The watery essence clings to the skin beautifully. As someone with dry skin, using this toner feels like toning with healthy mineral water, which was quite satisfying. There are far too many unfavorable ingredients for a daily product! Overall, it seems Ahava hasn't paid much attention to the formulation.
