I have very sensitive skin, but this cleanser cleansed my face thoroughly and refreshingly, and my skin didn't feel too tight after washing. I really liked it. When I use mildly acidic cleansers, I often find that they lack cleansing power and cause breakouts, and some cleansers make my skin feel uncomfortably tight, but this bar soap was just right.

The soap comes with a soap net, which makes it easy to create a lather, and you can use the same soap to wash your face and body, which is great. Like many, I find that cutting off a piece of the soap and putting it in the included mesh pouch helps create a good lather and makes the soap last longer. I bought it for around $4-5, and I'd love to stock up when it's on sale.

Since my skin isn't prone to breakouts, I didn't experience any issues or worsening of my skin. But individual results may vary.

I generally like Benton products and have used most of them, but I've avoided their cleansing products because they aren't mildly acidic. I figured I'd just throw them away if they didn't work for my skin. But I happened to buy this on sale out of curiosity, and I'm so pleased with it.

It's been a while since I've used a solid soap, and I had low expectations, but the experience has been wonderful. It's not mildly acidic, but the high oil content means it doesn't dry out my skin. It cleanses thoroughly yet leaves my skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. There's no residue or flaky skin after use. I really like the clean and nourished feeling, similar to the Beplain Nokdu Cleansing Foam. I'm alternating this with mildly acidic cleansers.

The included mesh pouch works great too. The double-layer design helps create a nice, rich lather.

My skin is extremely oily, and after cleansing, there was a lot of residue on the cotton pad when I wiped my face with toner. But after using this product, there was much less residue left on the cotton pad.

This seems to vary from person to person, but even though I used to have a bit of adult acne, I no longer get blemishes on my face after using this product (I still get a few when I'm tired).

 For those stubborn, oily spots that need extra attention, first cleanse with a cleansing oil (I like jojoba or apricot seed oils) and then use the Benton soap. This two-step process leaves my skin feeling much more refreshed!

 You all know that natural products don't have strong fragrances, and the scent is bound to be divisive... I'm not saying it's a downside, just letting you know.

1. The lather isn't dense.
The lather is soft and light, with no irritation - it's a godsend. But the lather isn't dense, so it just flows off my hands ㅜㅜ I try to create tons of lather to minimize irritation, but it doesn't cling to my hands and just drips off, with quite a bit going to waste ㅜㅜ But it does stay well on my face ㅋㅋ

2. The lather particles are bigger than expected.
The double-layered net creates a really rich, abundant lather that forms quickly. But there aren't any fine, micro-bubbles.

3. Needs additional oil control.
It removes whiteheads well, but can't get rid of blackheads on my nose or the bumpy sebum around my nose and under my lips.

 This is the first time I've used such a moisturizing cleanser!

This is a review after using it for about a week. I'll continue using it and make any necessary updates.
For now, after finishing this bottle, I do plan to repurchase.
