I filled my regular bathtub about 70% full and added a full scoop of Yunohana using the measuring cup provided in the package. The fluorescent yellow water with its pleasant aroma created a delightful atmosphere throughout my bath time. After soaking, my skin felt slightly silky with a lingering softness. Thinking it might be beneficial to keep the hot spring minerals on my skin, I didn't rinse off afterward. I experienced no irritation or issues before or after the bath. I wonder if they added coloring for the visual effect of a hot spring bath. It seems unnecessary and a bit disappointing - it would be fine without it. I don't have any specific tips to share. If you stick to the recommended usage time and amount, you should be able to use this product without any problems. - dd*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2025
When you mix the powder with water, it instantly feels like mineral spring water. It's silky smooth, if that's the right way to describe it. After rinsing, your skin feels wonderfully hydrated. The ingredients list is a bit disappointing. I think it could be just as effective without added colors or fragrances. You can use it as a quick rinse after cleansing or even after a shower. It leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth. - el****Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 5, 2024
The soothing baby powder scent makes me feel like I'm in a hot spring. It's great value for money, so I can use it for a long time. It dissolves well in water. After bathing, my body feels surprisingly moisturized. The scent is a bit strong, so if I soak for too long, I get a slight headache. The fluorescent yellow color is a bit off-putting. - ps****Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 4, 2024
I like it, it's gentle. My child's skin has become so soft! Although it's good, I'm looking for alternatives due to the ingredients. - al****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 31, 2024
The scent is absolutely delightful, and it seems to make my skin feel incredibly soft and smooth! The color is a bit too fluorescent or yellow, which feels somewhat artificial. I wonder if it was really necessary to add that. It's not particularly appealing. I bought this for half-body baths to improve my circulation lately, and it seems to be benefiting my skin too! Apparently, it's gentle enough for babies to use as well. In our household, we occasionally use it for our dog's spa sessions too! Our pup loves the spa experience and really needs the extra hydration. It seems to be working wonders! - ch*********Dry SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2023
As someone with dry skin, I love how it significantly reduces the dryness after bathing If only it weren't for the price, I'd want to use it every day... The somewhat strong scent and color are a bit disappointing though - mi******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2022
It's so convenient for bathing newborns and incredibly effective for baby acne. I wonder why they added unnecessary colorants and fragrances. I understand the scent might be for adults, but the color isn't even attractive - it's like an energy drink. I really don't get why. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2022
It feels like my skin has been dipped in hot springs, leaving it incredibly smooth. Personally, I also love the fragrance. The price is a bit disappointing. The water turns a fluorescent bright yellow color, and while they say you don't need to rinse it off, I feel a bit uneasy about not rinsing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2022
Great for when you're hesitant to use surfactants due to blemishes, dry skin, or dead skin cells. It's excellent as a bath additive and provides good hydration. Contains fragrance and color... It's a fluorescent lime green. They claim it's safe for newborns, but why keep potential allergens like fragrance and dyes? I prefer it over foaming bath products since it doesn't create bubbles in the tub. - cu*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2021
Every winter, my child develops small red blemishes around the mouth and on the body. It doesn't seem particularly dry, but this happens from winter to early spring. As it gets warmer, the blemishes naturally disappear, only to return when it gets cold again. This cycle has repeated since birth, now at 4 years old. To make matters worse, wearing masks due to COVID-19 has been aggravating the blemishes. Despite focusing on hydration, we end up using steroid ointments. Thinking over-moisturizing might be the cause, we've tried stopping moisturizer use altogether, but to no avail. We were really at a loss. Then we tried the famous Yunohana bath powder, and wow - no more blemishes! Usually, bath time (with bubble baths or color-changing bath products) would strangely cause facial blemishes, but with Yunohana, they don't appear at all. Our routine now: Before the bath, I shampoo my child's hair and quickly wash their body. Then I dissolve the Yunohana powder in the bathtub, let my child soak, and use that water to rinse their hair and wash their face. Instead of rinsing with plain water afterwards, I pat them dry with a towel, apply an emulsion, and get them dressed. While we used to see blemishes come and go, since using Yunohana, they haven't appeared at all. I'm extremely satisfied, though it's quite pricey and my child wants to use it every day, so that's a bit challenging! We've tried alternative products, but nothing compares. Despite being Japanese, which gives me slight pause, I think we'll continue using it for my child's skin's sake. The colorants make it appealing to my child, but I do feel uneasy about the artificial colors and fragrances. If it weren't for these two ingredients, it would be perfect. Don't rinse with plain water! The bath water is too precious to waste - I even use it myself after my child's bath... haha!
