It's been a while since I've used an AHA product, and I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle it felt on my skin - no irritation at all! I was a bit skeptical at first due to its subtle feel, but when I woke up the next morning, I was amazed to see improved skin texture and what seemed like some dead skin cell removal. My skin felt smoother, which is why I'm here writing this review. Usually, with chemical exfoliants like this, if they sting too much or don't agree with my skin initially, I tend to avoid using them. However, after using this product, I was able to layer the rest of my skincare routine without any discomfort. The product seems effective, so I think I'll be using it frequently. It has a green cleanse juice scent, which gives me a nice 'skin detox' wellbeing vibe - that's a plus for me. However, it's not your typical cosmetic fragrance, so some people might not appreciate it. - ns*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2024
1) Improves skin texture 2) Enhances makeup application These benefits are absolutely real. My skin usually looks disastrous, but after applying this and using a brightening moisturizer with SPF the next day, my complexion truly lasted longer. Honestly, there are no downsides. The only slight inconvenience is that you can't find it in regular drugstores. - ro****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 5, 2023
This is the most effective toner I've ever used for removing dead skin cells! Using it more than twice a week can be a bit tingling and irritating, so twice a week seems just right. You can actually see the dead skin cells lifting and falling off. If you're struggling with dead skin, I absolutely recommend this! It's quite potent, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with super sensitive skin or thin skin. Not sure what ingredient it is, but the toner residue around the bottle opening crystallizes like salt, so you need to clean it frequently. If you find it too strong, try mixing it with a regular toner to make it milder. - wa******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2022
Excellent at removing dead skin cells. It's delightful to see my skin improving! It stings a bit. Those with super sensitive skin should use it with caution. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 10, 2022
It feels like it effectively removes dead skin cells. When I wake up the next morning, my skin condition seems improved. It occasionally causes a slight tingling sensation. It's probably best to avoid using it on any areas with cuts or wounds. - oi********Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedSep 17, 2022
Skin condition: Extremely dry + Sensitive + Super dehydrated I'm on my 4th bottle now. I was really worried when my skin erupted with tiny blemishes. While searching for a gentle exfoliator to get rid of these, I discovered this product and have been using it since. Apparently, chemical exfoliation is key. After use, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. The amount is too small. First-time users might experience a tingling sensation. To be honest, I'm not sure if it's effectively removing dead skin cells. Soak a cotton pad generously and leave it on your face for 2 to 2.5 minutes like a mask. Absolutely no rubbing! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 6, 2022
Skin type: Oily, acne-prone ✓ Effective exfoliation that really works on the skin ✓ Noticeably reduces excess sebum production ✓ Unlike physical exfoliants, it feels like it's removing deep-seated dead skin cells ✓ Brand values focused on promoting healthy skin ✓ Continuous efforts towards environmental sustainability It's such a great brand, but due to lower awareness, their excellent products seem to be underappreciated. So, I'm doing some self-promotion here! I've tried several products with AHA, BHA, and PHA, but maybe because brands try too hard to avoid irritation, I didn't feel much effect. This is the most effective AHA product I've used. I've been using it consistently since 2019, and checking my account on their website, I've emptied 5 bottles so far. Of course, I plan to repurchase in the future! - Not available in drugstores, so accessibility might be an issue - Some people might find it stinging or irritating. I personally use it for that sensation though! - It's not a daily toner, should be used only 1-2 times a week, so you need to use it alongside another toner. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2022
My skin feels softer after using this compared to exfoliating gels Even with occasional use, it seems to cause some inflammation, possibly due to irritation - yu**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 12, 2022
I've finished 3 bottles and I'm on my 4th! - I have acne-prone skin, so after hearing about its exfoliating properties, I bought it based on YouTube recommendations. - They suggest using it every 2-3 days, but I've made it part of my daily routine. - For those with sensitive skin or freshly popped blemishes, it may cause a tingling sensation or burning feeling. That's why it's recommended to use it every 2-3 days or with a few days' break between applications, depending on your skin's needs. - jy******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2022
They've revamped it! The packaging is even prettier and more eco-friendly now. It's still great. I'm trying to use it less frequently than before though. There's nothing disappointing about the product itself. The only downside might be that it's not widely available and isn't super cheap? I mainly use it during my skin's natural exfoliation cycle. When I had a lot of blemishes before, I used it daily. Thanks to this product, my skin has improved significantly, so I've reduced how often I use it.
