First off, the particles are incredibly fine, and it seems to cleanse well. Because the particles are so fine, it hardly produces any foam and dissolves quickly when it touches water... I'm not sure if that's a good thing though? 1. The particles are so fine that when I first opened it, powder exploded everywhere. I was shocked that even the powder-controlling cap came off. It felt like it had turned into a powder bomb during shipping due to all the shaking. 2. When I used rice enzyme powder wash before, this didn't happen... but with this one, my face stings. On the first day, there was stinging but no redness, but from the second day onwards, both the stinging and redness intensified. I'm really unsure if I should continue using this... - 8r********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2021
I got it at a great discount, and I love that it's an enzyme cleanser that doesn't cause any irritation. Controlling the amount is trickier than I expected, but since it's an enzyme product, that's just something we have to work with. - jj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 8, 2021
I bought this to exfoliate while cleansing, eliminating the need for separate dead skin cell removal products. I'll need to keep using it to fully assess its effectiveness. The amount is smaller than expected, so keep that in mind when purchasing. - wt*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2019
When I heard my usual papain enzyme cleanser was being discontinued, I carefully selected this one from Hwahae. As expected, products with papain have a similar feel! It gently exfoliates dead skin cells daily, and after using cleansing oil first, it thoroughly removes any residue while leaving my skin hydrated. It doesn't cause any blemishes either, so I plan to keep using it! It's on the pricier side. Also, it doesn't lather well. The amount of water you use is crucial for creating foam, but if you use too much water to get more lather, the cleansing effectiveness decreases. I've given up on the foam for better cleansing power! Wet both hands thoroughly and dispense a coin-sized amount of cleanser. Rub it between your hands just until the powder particles dissolve, then gently massage it onto your face and rinse. That's it!
