This toner has a bit of viscosity, so it doesn't apply as thinly as water. It feels substantial enough that you could probably get away with just using this toner before bed. I tried the toner that came with the emulsion cream first, but the fragrance isn't my style at all. The gel texture allows the toner to absorb well across the entire face, giving a sensation of deep penetration into the skin. The need to purchase it as a set and its gel consistency might not appeal to everyone's preferences.

Since most cosmetics contain some scent, I'd personally prefer if this one had an even milder fragrance. When you apply the cream, your skin feels incredibly hydrated and supple. The pump dispenser is super convenient. It's an essence-like toner that doesn't feel heavy. In summer, I found that applying just this alone doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. That's how hydrating it is! Since it's an essence-type product, I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer to use toner for wiping off residue. Using this toner together with an emulsion works great. I bought a cream for winter use too, but it's so hydrating that you might not even need the cream. - Compared to typical toners, it offers more hydration and richness, making it sufficient on its own for oily skin types - Pairs well with the emulsion from the same line - It's so hydrating and rich that it's almost a stretch to call it a toner. The hydration power is truly impressive. On lazy nights, I just apply this and go to sleep. It really stings if it gets in your eyes. Looking at the ingredients on this app, I wonder if they're not so great...

I used the small sample size of this toner emulsion during the winter months, and I loved both the fragrance and how it kept my skin moisturized. In winter, my skin needs a hydrating toner and emulsion due to dryness, but in summer my skin tends to get a bit oily. I'm wondering if it would still be suitable for summer use.
