When used as an overnight sleeping mask, it improves skin texture by the next morning.
ConsThose with dry skin might experience some tightness. The scent might be a hit or miss for some people.
TipApplying a generous amount before bed yields great results the next day.

My skin texture improved and became smoother.
ConsThe price is a bit steep for the amount you get, which is disappointing.

The texture felt quite rich, so as someone with combination skin, I applied it thinly to avoid a blemish outbreak. When I woke up the next morning, I was amazed! For the first time since I was 23, I felt a subtle improvement in my skin texture. Thinking it might be beginner's luck, I decided to keep using it consistently. The result? A full-size product now has a permanent spot in my skincare routine! As it's a regenerating cream, it seems to calm redness from blemishes to some extent, and I can feel my skin barrier strengthening. I love it so much, I'll definitely use this even in summer!
ConsSince it's a cream, those with oily or combination skin should expect some small bumps. However, if I don't apply this, those little bumps become even more noticeable, so I make sure to apply a thin layer without fail.

However, like other shea butter products I've tried, it can feel a bit heavy and occasionally cause blemishes. If I use too much or apply it too often, I end up with some angry pimples or acne. It was especially challenging to use in summer, so I had to give up on it then. I'm not used to such a rich texture that absorbs slowly and leaves a heavy feeling, so that's a bit disappointing. While it does brighten my complexion and improve my skin faster than anything else I've tried, the breakouts and heavy feeling make it hard to use consistently. I wouldn't recommend it for oily or combination skin types, or for those who dislike that weighed-down feeling. Maybe just use it on dry areas. The price is also quite steep, so definitely try a sample first!
ConsThe ingredients list is a bit concerning. I usually only buy products with no 'red flags' in the ingredients, but this cream taught me not to always trust that system blindly. Despite having many ingredients that are supposedly bad for oily skin and pore-clogging, it seems to work well for me. It's become my holy grail cream! After using cheap drugstore creams, this feels like it's worth the higher price tag. It's heavy but effective. The price and some ingredients are the main downsides.
TipI'm considering repurchasing when it's on sale, but I'll finish this one first. Be careful not to overuse it as it might cause breakouts. Use a spatula to scoop out a small amount and gently warm it between your hands before applying. If you apply it right after cleansing, it can feel thick and hard to spread evenly. Surprisingly, it absorbs quickly, so it's best to apply after a toner or light gel. Since it's a heavier cream, using too many layers might make your skin feel weighed down and greasy. Just one layer of this is perfect!

ConsConsidering that I have extremely oily skin and tend to develop small bumps when using products with high oil content, I probably won't repurchase this. I applied it as the final step after my emulsion (I use Zeroid Intensive), and was shocked by how much it pilled. Instead of absorbing into the skin, it felt like it was balling up more as I rubbed it in, which was very disconcerting. I decided I absolutely couldn't use it during the day (I couldn't imagine layering sunscreen and foundation on top of it, given how much it was already pilling). It focuses more on nourishment and oil rather than hydration, which didn't suit my oily skin. The fragrance was also too strong for me. It might work well for those with dry skin and seems more suitable for fall and winter use.
TipThe texture is more like a rich nourishing cream rather than a water-gel type that feels super hydrating. Recommended for those with dry skin. It could work well as an all-in-one cream on its own. Make sure to use the spatula provided!

I've been using this product for exactly 9 days, with today being the 10th day. First off, for a cream, it definitely improves skin texture. I always thought creams were mainly for hydration, but Cremorlab's product lives up to its anti-wrinkle claims. Recently, I've been dealing with blemishes, so I simplified my routine to just 3 layers of toner, essence, and the Cremorlab cream. On the first day, due to its thick texture, I applied it in small amounts and gently spread it. After applying it at night and sleeping a couple of hours later, I woke up the next morning to find the cream completely absorbed, leaving my skin hydrated and firm. I was surprised because the texture is so thick, like cream cheese or butter, that I had almost given up on it being hydrating or absorbent. But contrary to my expectations, it sank right into my skin, creating what felt like a moisture barrier. No dryness at all! I then started applying it to my neck as well. Of course, during application, it felt a bit stiff due to the texture, but over time it naturally melted into the skin. Given its texture, I've been using it as a night cream, and I can definitely see improvements in my skin the next day. Before, I would wake up with all the moisture evaporated from my face and neck, leaving them dry and tight. But after using the Cremorlab cream, I wake up with proper nutrition and hydration still locked in. There's no rough texture when I touch my face. I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, so I always prioritize hydration in my creams. Even Physiogel left my skin dry by the next morning. But with Cremorlab, my skin feels soft and bouncy when I touch it in the morning. And gradually, my blemishes started to disappear. Of course, I've simplified my routine and I'm using an essence too, but I think the cream, which locks in moisture and nutrition for a long time, plays a big role. When my facial skin is dry, nothing helps - it ends up feeling tight in the morning and blemishes don't improve. But eliminating the dryness has been a big help. As it claims to improve wrinkles, it's definitely strengthening my skin barrier. I plan to consistently apply it to other areas where I'm concerned about wrinkles, not just my face.
ConsThe main drawbacks are the scent and absorption rate. First, the scent is really going to be a love-it-or-hate-it thing. It has an ointment-like smell that was off-putting at first. It's not overwhelming, but you can't ignore fragrance when it comes to cosmetics. Of course, unscented would be ideal for a skincare product, but those who dislike the medicinal scent might not reach for it often. However, it doesn't linger long - it becomes fine after a while on your face. Also, the absorption process is quite lengthy. The texture itself is quite thick, so I applied small amounts all over my face and gently spread it, but it just sat there in clumps. So I had to pat it with my fingertips, then rub my palms together to generate some heat before pressing them against my face to help it absorb. If you remove your hands too quickly or apply it when it's cold, it really doesn't absorb well. Mixing it with oil seemed excessive, so I just used my palms to help it absorb. This process isn't feasible for busy mornings, so I only used it as a night cream. It's similar to Eucerin's night cream in terms of effectiveness. It definitely improves the skin barrier. Just as Eucerin has separate day and night creams, I used my existing Guerlain cream for day and Cremorlab for night.
TipIf you have blemish-prone skin like me, it's good to warm the cream between your palms and press it into your face to help absorption! I simplified my skincare routine due to blemishes, and I thought adding oil might be too much. This method worked quite well. It locks in moisture and nutrition, and as a result, my blemishes have reduced. I'm satisfied!

I wasn't expecting anything, but suddenly a package arrived. I was like, 'What's this?' Turns out, I won something! How exciting! Here's my review after using it morning and night for about 6 days: Being a regenerative cream with anti-wrinkle properties, it has a very rich, thick texture. At first, it doesn't seem to absorb instantly, which made me wonder if it was sinking in at all. But after gently massaging it along my skin texture several times, it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling deeply nourished. It's like my skin just had a hearty meal - feeling full and satisfied! The texture might be a bit heavy for morning use, so I've been mixing it with my toner for my AM routine. This makes it much smoother and more hydrating, allowing it to penetrate better. When I apply it at night, it's like wearing a sleeping mask. I wake up with skin that feels hydrated without any deep dryness. My makeup seems to apply better too. I really like it! This product is perfect for the very dry winter months!
ConsThe scent is really off-putting... It has a strong medicinal smell, and combined with its thick, ointment-like texture, it feels like I'm applying medicine to my face. I'm also a bit disappointed with some of the ingredients. It contains pore-clogging components and even some that might trigger blemishes. If you have super sensitive skin, I strongly recommend patch testing before purchasing!
TipMixing it with toner in the morning? That's the trick! The cream itself is so heavy and rich that applying it alone in the morning can feel a bit overwhelming...!
