My lips crack and get extremely dry not just in winter, but in summer too. Most lip balms and even Vaseline can't handle it. While lip balms are convenient to carry, stick types usually don't provide intense hydration. However, this one is exceptional - it's a stick but delivers incredible moisture. Unlike typical hard lip balm formulas, it has an almost chewy texture that glides on effortlessly and keeps lips hydrated for ages. One application in the morning is enough to last all day, unless you eat something that wipes it off. It's disappointing that this lip product, which we essentially ingest, contains some questionable ingredients. It would be nearly perfect if those were removed. The stick format makes it super portable, so keep it with you and apply whenever you need a moisture boost.

There's no risk of it breaking or getting smashed, making it such a neat and tidy lip balm. The scent isn't overpowering either, which I personally appreciate. It glides on smoothly and provides quite good hydration, which I found fantastic. The downside? The price is a bit steep. With a retail price of 13,000 won, I feel it would be just right at around 10,000 won. Also, I wouldn't have minded if the fragrance was slightly more noticeable. My lips used to be very dry, so I would always apply lip balm. When I use this, it really grips my lips tightly and gives them a healthy glow, which I love. The ingredients are a bit disappointing. And when you press down on it, it feels a bit stiff.

This product, which has the name 'Mamonde Pure Lip Stick Mask', can be thought of as a lip balm with a glossy, slippery texture like a lip gloss! 1. Lip balm like a lip gloss The texture is much more glossy than I expected, so I've been using it like a lip gloss over a tint on my dry lips! By the way, the product is colorless! I have a habit of biting my lips, so I'm using it daily, but in the hot summer, it might feel too glossy and burdensome for some. 2. Subtle vanilla scent Many people might think it's unscented since 'pure' is in the product name, but it has a vanilla scent. As you apply it to your lips, the vanilla scent is quite noticeable at the tip of your nose. Those who dislike scented lip balm products should take note! 3. Small and convenient product shape It's small and portable, like a pen. Lip balms are often easy to lose, but this one is about the size of a highlighter and has a clip, so it's really convenient to use. I usually keep it in my pencil case and use it very often. There's no hassle of having to take out a separate pouch, so it's great. (Students might find it convenient to keep in their pencil case! That's how I use it, and it's easy to take out with my hand and apply to my lips more frequently!) If I had to point out a downside, I wish they would also release an unscented version! I sometimes find the scent to be a bit sensitive.
