I received this as a gift from a friend. Well... the pearls themselves were pretty, with various types mixed together... at least visually? The formula itself isn't the trendy type you see these days. It's more like those old-school strawberry milk lip glosses, you know? Just exactly that feeling. It coats your lips to prevent dryness. I think it'll be perfect for winter use. I bought this thinking it was a glass-like coating, but it turned out to be an old-fashioned gloss. The color payoff is consistent whether applied to the back of the hand or the lips, which I really like. The pearl shimmer isn't overly sparkly, so it doesn't feel excessive. I bought it during a 50% off sale, so the price is great, and the amount is enough to last until it expires, even with frequent application! I loved the overall color scheme and the shimmer! It wasn't sticky at all, which was great. Be careful when removing the applicator tip, as the product might splatter. When you wipe it off, most of the color disappears, leaving just the shimmer. I was okay with it, but it might be a hit or miss for some.
