The moisturizer has an excellent absorption, and I especially love that it's not sticky. For a hydrating cream, its moisturizing power is quite impressive. I've used about a third of it so far, and it's holding up well even in winter. The best part? My skin feels incredibly soft after application - it's a win! As someone with sensitive skin, I noticed a slight irritation when first applying it. There's a bit of a tingling sensation, but it subsides later. A temporary redness seems to appear, which does eventually fade, but those with extremely sensitive skin should exercise caution. During winter, I layer on moisturizer whenever I can. If you have a serum, applying it before the moisturizer really boosts the hydration power! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 24, 2017
I purchased a set that includes cotton pads, toner, and moisturizer, as they were on sale at Olive Young. Although it was a new brand to me, I thought I could trust it since it was sold at Olive Young. However, it seems to have caused irritation, especially for my sensitive skin during the dry winter. I checked the ingredients on the Hwahae app and found out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2017
It's quite moisturizing...and a bit oily, but not to the point where it's unusable in this weather. The formula doesn't feel heavy or greasy when applied before makeup, and it absorbs completely. While it's moisturizing on the surface, it doesn't seem to fully hydrate the deeper layers of the skin. Sometimes the outer layer feels oily, but the inner layers feel dry. It stings a bit every time I apply it, especially in the evenings after cleansing when my skin is more sensitive. It doesn't cause redness or breakouts, but when my skin is in a bad condition, it seems to have a negative synergistic effect. It's not completely unusable, but I always wonder what's in it that makes it sting so much when I apply it. At night, I apply a hydrating gel cream and seal it in with a thin layer. In the mornings, I use a lot of essence and just a small amount as a protective coating. I'm pretty much done with this product and won't be repurchasing it. Of course, it stings every time I use it... - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 8, 2017
The floral scent is so nice, making it more fragrant than other creams!!!!! My skin feels a bit stingy, but I'm not sure if it's because my skin is dry or if it doesn't suit my skin - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 21, 2017
When I bought 120,000 won worth of products during a promotion at Olive Young, they gave me around 3 samples. It was good that there was no irritation. However, despite being called 'low irritation', it was actually quite irritating, causing itchiness and stinging in the areas with acne. Also, it seems to be quite oily, so those with oily skin should be cautious. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2016
I purchased a moisturizing cream for my combination skin type with dehydration, and it's been great - very moisturizing with a nice fragrance. When I applied it during sensitive skin days, it stung and irritated my face, leaving it red and blotchy. It's best to try products yourself to see what works for your individual skin. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it will be a good fit for everyone. That's why skincare can get so expensive, unfortunately.
