Please keep in mind that reviews are subjective and may vary from person to person. This product seems to have really good staying power, and it often goes on sale - I got it for just 2900 won. The texture is soft and velvety, though not quite as plush as Peripera's Ink Velvet. It applies like a water tint but finishes with a slight powdery feel. Unlike Etude's Dear Darling Tint, it doesn't feel uncomfortably dry on the lips even without lip balm, which I appreciate. While the color on my lips differs from the swatch on my hand (so it's not exactly the shade I was hoping for), it's still quite pretty. 1. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, it looked like a red-orange, so I thought 'Wow! This will make a great base!' and bought it. But on the lips, it turns pink after a short while. It's hard to describe - maybe a red-pink or hot pink? The packaging isn't to my taste, and neither is the scent. I really bought it just trusting the color, but even that wasn't what I expected. Still, it is pretty. 2. It really emphasizes dead skin cells... I wanted good staying power, so I only applied lip balm in the morning and skipped it right before applying the tint. But this resulted in pink color clinging to the edges of my flaky skin... It looks patchy and caked on the dry bits, creating a noticeable color difference from the rest of my lips. Even from a distance, it's like I'm proudly showing off my flaky lips - the perfect dead skin cells flaunting product... While the soft texture is nice, the way it highlights flakiness is too much. It's like it woke up all the peacefully sleeping dead skin cells. 3. The cap doesn't leak or anything, but it doesn't close as cleanly as I'd like. With just a slight misjudgment of force, the cap ends up slightly tilted to one side when closing. It's not a big deal though - it doesn't affect functionality. If you don't pay attention to it, you hardly notice. But when I first bought it, it bothered me so much that I kept opening and closing it over and over. 4. I don't like the scent. It's faint enough to be tolerable, but it still smells artificial. I wouldn't recommend buying this at full price. I'm not sure if it's because I don't buy tints often, but while it's not worth 2900 won, it seems like a tint that would be most appropriately priced around 5000 won... or maybe 4800 won. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 4, 2019
While it's not exactly the color I was hoping for, it's still pretty. The scent is like apple-flavored chewy candy. I've tried Peripera's Gelato Tint before, and this has the same fragrance! The texture is also slightly similar. When swatched on the back of my hand, it looks orange-red. However, when applied to my lips, it turns into an orange-pink coral shade. The color itself is pretty, but as someone who was looking for an orange-red, I felt a bit disappointed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 2, 2018
The color is absolutely gorgeous! Warm-toned beauties, you need to get your hands on this. It's a true coral-red shade that's just perfect for me. The texture is moisturizing when first applied, but it seems to set to a slightly more matte finish over time. It doesn't make my lips feel uncomfortable at all. Oh no, the dreaded pink shift... I'm not sure if it's just me, but after a few hours, I noticed it had turned into a hot pink. As someone who absolutely loathes pink (multiply that by 100000000), I really, really disliked this. I'd recommend this for those who can't give up on longevity, even if it means dealing with the pink shift. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2018
I bought two of these - Angelica and Michael - during a buy-one-get-one-free sale. The cases are adorably decorated with angels, and the lids are sturdy, which I love! The application is smooth, and it's matte without being drying, which is fantastic. When I tested it on the back of my hand, the color looked like a vibrant red. However, when I applied it to my lips at home, it had a slight pink undertone. It's not a major issue though, as you can build up to the red shade with multiple applications. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 6, 2018
When I first applied it, I mixed it with other mousse-type tints, and it created a beautiful gradient on the inner lips. I loved how it glided on smoothly, almost like meringue! The staying power is terrible... After licking my lips a few times, it left patchy stains and the color changed to a garish hot pink or neon pink, which was quite embarrassing... It looks prettier when mixed with other products rather than used alone! - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 19, 2018
It adheres so well after just a minute that it won't come off even when drinking water! The pointed tip makes it easy to apply a full lip. No need for cotton swabs or lip brushes. I bought it expecting an orange-red color, but it stains red with no hint of orange.
