I bought this for school because it was said to look natural, and it truly is. Shade 9 might seem like grapefruit red at first glance, but it's actually a perfect pink coral. It also has some staining power. (The last photo was taken 3 minutes after application.) The color intensifies with each layer. While it doesn't severely emphasize dead skin cells, the effect can vary depending on your lip condition that day. The downside is that sometimes it can look like a fluorescent pink after wearing it for a while. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2019
Please keep in mind that reviews are subjective and may vary from person to person. This product seems to have really good staying power, and it often goes on sale - I got it for just 2900 won. The texture is soft and velvety, though not quite as plush as Peripera's Ink Velvet. It applies like a water tint but finishes with a slight powdery feel. Unlike Etude's Dear Darling Tint, it doesn't feel uncomfortably dry on the lips even without lip balm, which I appreciate. While the color on my lips differs from the swatch on my hand (so it's not exactly the shade I was hoping for), it's still quite pretty. 1. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, it looked like a red-orange, so I thought 'Wow! This will make a great base!' and bought it. But on the lips, it turns pink after a short while. It's hard to describe - maybe a red-pink or hot pink? The packaging isn't to my taste, and neither is the scent. I really bought it just trusting the color, but even that wasn't what I expected. Still, it is pretty. 2. It really emphasizes dead skin cells... I wanted good staying power, so I only applied lip balm in the morning and skipped it right before applying the tint. But this resulted in pink color clinging to the edges of my flaky skin... It looks patchy and caked on the dry bits, creating a noticeable color difference from the rest of my lips. Even from a distance, it's like I'm proudly showing off my flaky lips - the perfect dead skin cells flaunting product... While the soft texture is nice, the way it highlights flakiness is too much. It's like it woke up all the peacefully sleeping dead skin cells. 3. The cap doesn't leak or anything, but it doesn't close as cleanly as I'd like. With just a slight misjudgment of force, the cap ends up slightly tilted to one side when closing. It's not a big deal though - it doesn't affect functionality. If you don't pay attention to it, you hardly notice. But when I first bought it, it bothered me so much that I kept opening and closing it over and over. 4. I don't like the scent. It's faint enough to be tolerable, but it still smells artificial. I wouldn't recommend buying this at full price. I'm not sure if it's because I don't buy tints often, but while it's not worth 2900 won, it seems like a tint that would be most appropriately priced around 5000 won... or maybe 4800 won. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 6, 2019
I found the perfect natural shade for quick touch-ups before heading out, and this tint is absolutely spot-on! I picked it up on a whim during a sale, and I'm pleasantly surprised. The color isn't as intense as I expected - just one thin layer gives my lips a natural, 'my lips but better' look that's perfect for school. The scent is a bit off-putting. At first, it had a sweet, fruity aroma, but over time it seems to develop a fermented smell, almost like rice wine. Also, it's a bit disappointing that the stain it leaves behind has a somewhat neon pink tone. Applying just a thin layer makes my lips look naturally vibrant, as if it's my own lip color. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 21, 2019
The middle shade in the first photo is #9 Angelica. 1. Staying power - Good, but leaves a pink stain ^^ 2. Application - Applies smoothly, the absorption is fantastic. 3. Dead skin cells - Doesn't cause flaking, even existing dead skin cells seem less noticeable 4. It's a vibrant orange? and red mysteriously blended together Overall rating: ☆☆☆ I like that it doesn't cause flaking, but I really dislike the pink staining. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I'll be happy to answer kindly ^^ The staining, oh the pink staining!!! As you can see in the last photo, it leaves a stain like that^^ If you dislike pink staining, it might be better to look into other types! - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 10, 2019
First off, I absolutely adore the color - it's so beautiful! The formula is wonderfully hydrating, so it doesn't accentuate any dead skin cells and absorbs really well!! Plus, the staying power isn't bad at all! If there's one slight downside, it's that it leaves a bit of a pink stain behind... Pro tip: Use concealer to blur your lip line for a softer look! Also, make sure you know whether you're warm or cool-toned, so you can choose the perfect tint shade that complements your complexion! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2019
The color is beautifully pigmented and can be described as a vibrant coral shade. The application is smooth, and it gives a lovely glossy finish which I absolutely adore. Based on the color alone, I'd consider repurchasing, but the scent might be a deal-breaker for some. Personally, I'm not a fan of the fragrance. The scent is quite peculiar. When I first opened it, it had an odd smell, almost like it had been used before. There's a hint of oud and overall just a strange fragrance. The staining effect is pink, which is a bit disappointing. The glossy finish seems to fade quickly, especially when I used it in winter - the dryness made the shine disappear faster than I'd like. Here's a pro tip: Apply lip balm before the tint to prevent dead skin cells from showing, resulting in a smoother, more beautiful application! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2019
The color is pretty and it's not too gel-like or too watery - it's just right in between, making it easy to apply. It glides on perfectly along the lip line without causing any dead skin cells to appear. As time passes or after eating, the tint fades and turns pink, which means I always have to reapply it. That's a bit inconvenient. The color starts as orange, but as you layer it, it transforms into a more red-orange shade, making it great for adjusting the color intensity. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2019
The applicator dispenses a small amount from the start, making it easy to control. The vibrant red color is absolutely gorgeous. It applies lightly, and just this alone is enough to create beautiful lips. The stain left behind is pink, which is a bit disappointing... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2019
It's pleasantly moisturizing. As someone with a very warm complexion, this is a perfect match. Highly recommended for those with warm undertones! The scent isn't great, and the staying power is quite poor. The tint also leans pink. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2019
This is honestly the best tint I've ever used. I received it as a gratis gift, and I'm 100% going to repurchase it. Please don't discontinue this product! When first applied, the texture is wonderfully moisturizing and adheres well to the lips. The final finish is pleasantly matte, so it doesn't transfer easily! While everything else was great, there's one slight drawback. The stain tends to turn pink, which was a bit disappointing. This could be due to differences in everyone's natural lip color, but it does leave a rather pink-toned stain, which is a bit of a letdown. Since the stain does turn pink, for those who don't like a pink stain, I'd recommend applying a coral or slightly orange-red color as a base lip color first. Then, apply this tint over it for an even better result!
