ConsIt's too thick for standalone use, and the shade is quite dark, so I had to blend it with a lighter foundation.

Even a small amount conceals freckles and even tattoos perfectly.
ConsIt's too thick and drying to use as a foundation on its own. I recommend using it as a concealer instead.

ConsWhile it's thicker than regular foundation, I found it to be a bit greasy and oily for my skin type.

I have severe inflammatory acne, but the coverage was so good that it concealed everything perfectly. Despite its thick consistency, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it absorbed. If you use face oils or rich creams in your skincare routine, you might initially feel the foundation is a bit dry and thick, seeming to sit separately from your moisturizer. However, after a short while, it melds with your skin, becoming more comfortable and less likely to transfer.
ConsGiven its thick and dry texture, if you apply the foundation immediately after a rich cream, it may pill or emphasize skin texture significantly.
TipAfter applying a rich cream or face oil, instead of immediately applying the foundation, try layering a light, hydrating sunscreen or a thin layer of cushion foundation first. This prevents friction between the cream and foundation, allowing for a more natural skin texture.

Plus, the staying power is top-notch!
ConsIt's quite thick due to its creamy consistency... That's about the only drawback I can think of.
TipTry mixing it with other foundations for best results.

It's my holy grail foundation! Note that the photo appears a bit dark. 1. Despite being only 30ml, you only need to use about half a pinky nail's worth per application, so it lasts incredibly long. I've been using the same tube since early last year, though I do alternate with other products. 2. It has a pink base and the color isn't overwhelming - it's beautiful. Even I, with naturally yellow-toned skin, can use it without issues, and my sister who swears by pink tones is also satisfied. Shade 207 is suitable for those with skin tones between 17-21. 3. It has excellent waterproof properties and provides great skin coverage. It doesn't come off easily even when you sweat in summer, and it holds up well on oily skin with excessive sebum production. Even when it does break down, it does so gracefully. 4. The price point isn't too high, making it an affordable purchase. 5. The ingredients are good, and the scent is so subtle that anyone can use it without issues.
ConsWhile there aren't any significant downsides, there are some points to be cautious about: 1. You need to cleanse thoroughly after use. Due to its excellent waterproof properties and skin adhesion, improper cleansing can lead to blemishes. 2. It has a somewhat thick, ointment-like cream texture, which can apply heavily if used with fingers. In summer, a wedge puff works well, while in winter, a damp sponge or Tony Moly's slapping puff pairs nicely. 3. Be careful with the amount you use. Unlike other foundations or BB creams where you might need one to one and a half pumps for good coverage, you need to use very little of this product. I use less than a pinky nail's worth. It's best to experiment to find the right amount for your skin. 4. The unique texture, creamy and oily like Vaseline without much moisture, might be surprising for first-time users. It applies best over a well-moisturized base, and using a tool helps it adhere to the skin and spread thinly. You'll need to figure out the right skincare base and application tool for your needs. Those with oily skin will need a finishing powder.
TipRather than using this product alone, I mix it with Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in shade 100. This product has a bright, pink-leaning tone which isn't quite right for my naturally yellow-toned skin. The Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation has an ivory-yellow base with a grayish tint and a powdery finish, which works wonders when mixed with Dermacol. I haven't found a better foundation combination than these two. For application, as mentioned earlier, I use either a wedge puff or a damp slapping puff/sponge.
