207 Light Beige ■ Purchase Motivation I'm preparing for a makeup practical exam. While searching for a foundation to use on the model's face, I came across many recommendations for Dermacolor, so I decided to purchase it!! I saw reviews saying it applies well, but it still ended up creasing on me ㅠ ■ Packaging It's much smaller than I expected. I didn't realize it would be this tiny. Since you only need to use a little bit, it should last a long time. It's a tube type that you squeeze out, but it's incredibly thick and doesn't come out easily. I feel like the outer packaging might tear as I continue using it (and it did end up tearing on the side ㅠ) ■ Color #207 I bought the 207 shade since it was recommended for a 21 skin tone model. Since this is for my makeup exam, I wanted a slightly brighter shade for a 21 skin tone. If you have a 22 skin tone or want a more natural 21 skin tone, it might look a bit too bright. This was my first time trying a cream foundation while preparing for the makeup exam. I also have a balm type at home, but this is thicker. It's incomparable to other foundations that claim to have good coverage. ✔️Volume It may look small, but a little goes a long way, so I can use it for a very long time, which is great. ✔️Pros! I used it because they said the coverage was good, but I'm not sure... Why can't my freckles be covered no matter what I use? It accentuates the flakiness. What's with the ointment packaging? The coverage is really great, no doubt about it. Some people even use it as a concealer, the coverage is that good. I usually use shade 21, and while it's a bit bright, with contouring and such, it doesn't look at all unnatural and blends in perfectly. The amount is also really generous, so it should last a long time.
Cons
First of all, I'm not too fond of the packaging - it looks like it's about to burst open... And when I first used it, since I have an extremely oily skin type, I had to powder it, but even then, it would crack and flake off. If someone is looking for a cost-effective foundation, tell them to take a look at Dermacol... It's my holy grail foundation! Please note that the photo may have come out a bit dark. 1. Even though it's a 30ml bottle, a small amount the size of a fingernail is enough for one application, so it lasts an incredibly long time. I've been using the one I bought last year and I'm still using it. 2. It has a pink base and the color is not too overpowering, it's pretty. Even as someone with a yellow-based complexion, I can use it without any issues, and my sister who prefers pink-toned makeup is also satisfied with it. The 207 shade is a good brightness for those in the 17-21 shade range. 3. It has excellent waterproof capabilities and good skin coverage.
