It's great as a base product before makeup. When you swipe it once with a cotton pad, your face feels firm and supple. It seems to help makeup adhere better. I wish the ingredients were just a tad better, that's my only slight regret. - ch**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2021
While I don't have particularly flaky skin, so I can't speak much to its exfoliating properties, I did feel that it provided a nice boost of hydration! I wasn't aware that the ingredients weren't great, but it turns out they're not the best. However, I personally didn't experience any breakouts or reactions. If you have extremely sensitive skin, you might want to be cautious with this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2021
It's great as a first-step morning toner and emulsion combo, effectively removing dead skin cells and providing a cooling effect. However, like many products that claim to remove dead skin cells, it contains alcohol which can cause a tingling sensation and redness. It's too irritating for evening skincare use. When used as the first step in a rushed morning makeup routine, it definitely helps the base makeup adhere better. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2020
It's incredibly gentle and rich, so even if I only apply this and go about my day, there's absolutely no feeling of deep dryness. I'm not sure if I opened it incorrectly, but without using a cotton pad, a large amount comes out at once, so be careful with controlling the quantity. After cleansing, saturating a cotton pad and wiping your face from the inside out feels absolutely wonderful! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2020
I've been using this as a substitute for SK-II Clear Lotion Emulsion after my evening cleanse. It keeps my skin hydrated for a long time and really brightens my complexion. It's quite pricey for the amount you get, and the ingredients aren't the best. However, it seems to be essential for getting rid of dead skin cells. - ep******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2019
I have dry and sensitive skin. I've been using this product for about a month. While it makes my skin feel very hydrated with just one application, I think it might be too strong for my sensitive skin. The sales associate told me it helps lower skin temperature and manages dead skin cells. I can't see the dead skin cells, but it definitely makes my skin feel moisturized. I was tempted by claims of good ingredients, but it seems a bit harsh for my skin type. I just realized the ingredients aren't great. When I use this, my skin feels overly irritated. My redness, which wasn't severe before, has increased, and I'm starting to see some blemishes appear. I remember once, not knowing any better, I rubbed it in vigorously thinking it would remove dead skin cells. The next day, my skin was red and covered in tiny bumps. It doesn't seem suitable for sensitive skin. Daily use might be too much for sensitive skin. It's probably better to use it gently every 2-3 days. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2019
I loved that I could exfoliate by applying it to a cotton pad and wiping after cleansing. It was especially effective for thoroughly caring for areas like the sides of the nose and chin. I was also pleasantly surprised by how long the product lasted. With its water-like texture, right after use it felt more refreshing than deeply moisturizing. - ju******Normal SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 9, 2019
This toner helps with dead skin cell management. We've all had that moment when we sit down to do our makeup after morning cleansing and suddenly notice unexpected flakes. If we had known, we would have used an exfoliating product while cleansing. This toner is perfect for those rushed moments when you need to quickly tackle dead skin cells as your work start time approaches. Generously (this is important) soak a cotton pad and gently wipe your face as if you're letting it absorb. Follow up with an emulsion and you're ready to apply makeup right away. Using it daily might make your skin feel worse. That's why I only use it when I need to manage dead skin cells before makeup. If you have oily skin, you might experience some shine after makeup application. Applying a small amount to dry areas quickly hydrates the skin, preventing any tightness after makeup. Rather than for daily use, it's best used as an emergency base product when you want your makeup to apply smoothly or when you have slight flaking.
