On days when I use sunscreen or wear makeup, I always double cleanse with a cleansing oil followed by a foam cleanser. I massage it onto my made-up face, then emulsify with water, and it removes everything so well! About once a week, I pay extra attention to my nose area, gently rolling the cleanser and then carefully using a cotton swab to remove blackheads - it's great for getting rid of excess sebum. It's a bit disappointing that there are a few ingredients to be cautious about. However, I particularly loved the green tea products - I've gone through several bottles of their ampoule.

After washing, my skin feels hydrated and refreshed without any deep dryness - I really like that! The only downside is that it's a discontinued product, so it's hard to find the full-size version. It has excellent cleansing effectiveness and emulsifies well, washing off cleanly. I love how it's also very gentle with minimal irritation. It's quite pricey to buy at regular price, so it's only worth getting during buy-one-get-one-free promotions.

Ingredients • Looking at the ingredient list... there's quite a few, haha! • Despite my sensitive skin, while other cleansing foams highly ranked on Hwahae caused burning sensations and didn't suit me, this one didn't irritate my skin at all! Lather & Scent • Being an oil, it doesn't lather... so at first, you might wonder if it's working • As someone very sensitive to fragrances, I did notice a scent. But since I'm okay as long as it doesn't go up my nose, I didn't mind Texture & Application • The texture is smooth, as you'd expect from an oil • You need to massage it for a few minutes in silence • After about 2 minutes of vigorous rubbing, you start to feel the granules...! Looking at your hands, you'll see lots of little black and white specks, haha! • As someone new to oil cleansers, I wasn't sure if it was working while using it, but I'm always amazed by the results on my hands... Irritation & Cleansing Power • No irritation! I press a bit harder to remove blackheads and whiteheads, but it doesn't irritate at all • After rinsing... you might wonder if it worked or not. Using a foam cleanser after feels like overkill, but it can leave you feeling a bit uncertain Moisture • It didn't feel like it stripped moisture from my skin~ You can take your time applying your skincare routine after After-use Effects • It was amazing! I could see impurities like blackheads being removed... it was great! Price & Quantity • I use it about once a week, but those who wear makeup often might find the quantity a bit small. It seems gentle. Of course, I always follow up with a foam cleanser after using oil, but usually something pops up after using oil cleansers. With this one, nothing appears! No itching either! If it could just remove sebum well, I'd love to use this diligently... Honestly, as someone who doesn't wear makeup, the only reason I use cleansing oil is for 'blackhead removal'. To be frank, it doesn't seem to remove them very effectively. I keep using it frequently, hoping it'll reduce them, but I'm not seeing much results... I have oily and sensitive skin, but I've been using this consistently for over 3 years! It's especially great because you can use it all year round. In winter, I double cleanse with this and the Innisfree Olive Cleansing Foam - it works wonders! I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin. I have dry skin, so I use oil cleansers, but it's a bit inconvenient since double cleansing is a must. It's suitable for combination skin types and not bad at all for a first try. Pretty decent overall. Hmm... Considering the price, the amount you get is a bit small. Might be best to buy only when it's on sale.

I love how it doesn't drip when I pour it into my hand, making it perfect for massaging onto the face. The scent is the main reason I adore this product, and its cleansing effectiveness is great. It also rinses off easily with water, which is a big plus! While the oil washes off well with water, if you're looking for that squeaky-clean, refreshing feeling, you might find this product a bit lacking. There's a slight residue left behind - I'm not sure if it's hydration or just a lingering feeling, but it's noticeable.
