Skin type: Very dry, sensitive, blemish-prone Consistency: Runny, like a liquid Absorption: Not bad. If you wait a bit before applying emulsion, there's almost no stickiness. Review: No blemishes occurred, and it absorbs without feeling sticky! Recommended skin types: Almost all, but might be too drying for very dry skin.
ConsThe scent... like syrup? That distinctive artificial sweetness was really bothersome. (For reference, I absolutely hate the smell of ibuprofen syrup...)

This serum really works hard, delivering powerful results.
ConsFor my taste, the fragrance is too strong, which makes me a bit hesitant. It's almost as intense as a perfume.
TipIt's great for dry skin. Just apply it right away when your skin feels a bit parched.

Sensitive and oily.. I used to have extremely oily skin without feeling any dryness, but recently I've become more of an oily skin type that feels drier. My mother, who used it with me, has iron-clad dry skin that's not sensitive at all. - Texture and application Since it's a hyaluronic serum, I had high hopes for its hydrating power. As the seasons changed, my skin was cracking, dry, and flaking.. The B5 serum has a viscous texture that stretches when you pull out the dropper. Even though I have oily skin, I love textures that feel rich and substantial when applied, so I was very satisfied. It spreads thinly when you first apply it, but as you pat it in, you can feel the rich, sticky hydration building up. I'm satisfied! - Moisturizing effect It's hard for a texture like this not to be moisturizing, right? I had been using Torriden's hydrating serum from summer until just before trying this product, and my skin felt quite dry. But with the B5 serum, it feels like a thick layer of both moisture and oil is sitting on my skin! When you apply it, there's no dryness at all, just a weighty feeling like you've put on a moisture barrier.
Cons- Scent The scent... I usually don't mind cosmetic fragrances and even tend to like them, but this one really didn't agree with me. On the first day, I thought, 'Hmm, it's tolerable,' but as I used it for two or three days, I felt increasingly put off by it, and the scent lingers.. I thought it might be a men's skincare scent, but it's more like an artificial watermelon scent.. - Soothing effect It didn't have any soothing effect for me.. And for hydration, I'd recommend it more for extremely dry skin rather than oily, and for use in the dead of winter rather than now! - Oil content Maybe because it's for dry skin, it feels like it's 40% hydration and 60% or more oil.. For my oily skin, the richness was immediately noticeable to the point of feeling a bit heavy! Perhaps because of this, I started to feel like I might develop small bumps or slight itchiness, so after a week of use, I passed it on to my dry-skinned mother. My mother, who's in her 50s with dry skin, finds the texture nice and the hydration good, and is using it without any issues.
TipSince what we expect from the product is hydration, to maximize the moisturizing effect, it's better to pat it in rather than spreading it! I think it would be good for dry-skinned individuals who usually want to balance both oil and moisture.

The product's hydrating power is incredibly good. It almost feels a bit heavy? As it's a serum for elasticity, it has a strong, bouncy texture. 2. I didn't experience any blemishes! It seems like it would suit those with dry, non-sensitive skin well. It has that unique texture of products containing vitamin ingredients - slightly oily, which should be great for providing hydration to those with dry skin. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin!
Cons1. The fragrance is extremely strong... I mean really, really strong. If it were just a perfume for the body, that would be one thing, but with masks these days... The scent from the product on my face was giving me a headache. 2. Maybe it's because it contains pore-clogging ingredients, but it didn't seem to suit my oily skin. Partly due to the hot weather, the stickiness was very uncomfortable, and the pores on my T-zone became more noticeable. This usually happens when I apply heavy creams... So I couldn't apply it both morning and night, only using it in the evening or every other day! Oh, but it didn't cause any blemishes. 3. The oily texture was a bit challenging for me. At first, it glided on smoothly, but later it became sticky! Applying cream on top made it less sticky, but it needed sufficient absorption time. However, using this product plus a cream in summer was too heavy, so I couldn't use it often.
Tip1. Unless you have extremely dry skin, definitely avoid using this in summer!! The texture is absolutely more suitable for dry seasons! 2. It has a very sticky texture, but it does absorb if you pat it in enough. Make sure to pat it in well. 3. If your pores become more noticeable or you get bumps on your T-zone when using it, it's likely due to the heavy texture. In that case, I recommend using it every other day! It didn't cause the blemishes that often occur with elasticity products. 4. I recommend using it at night rather than in the morning. It's hard to pat it in thoroughly when you need to get to work, and with masks these days, the strong scent can be a bit overwhelming. 5. I recommend applying it mainly to the dry areas of your cheeks! Of course, as it's an elasticity serum, it would be most effective if applied up to the sides of your cheekbones, but I noticed some pilling when applied there. I applied this product to my cheeks after my hydrating toner and ampoule were fully absorbed, and it resulted in makeup applying well and a subtle glow, creating a beautiful skin appearance.

I have combination dehydrated skin prone to fungal acne. 1. Even with just one layer of this serum, thanks to its hyaluronic acid, my skin doesn't feel dry or tight deep down. 2. While the texture is rich, it absorbs quickly. The glow it gives is quite pleasing to the eye. 3. I'm not sure if it's the firming ingredients, but the areas where I applied it - my cheeks and neck - feel a bit more plump. My mother was also happy, saying her neck wrinkles seemed slightly improved. 4. Despite having skin that's sensitive to skincare ingredients, my existing blemishes didn't worsen.
Cons1. If I had to pick something, it would be the somewhat strong fragrance... It's a personal preference, but I don't think it's necessary to add fragrances to skincare products, potentially compromising the formula. 2. The dropper feels a bit loose when inserting it into the bottle, which is inconvenient. 3. It feels a bit thick when used with other skincare products, so I wish it was slightly more fluid...!
TipPersonally, I saw effects on deep wrinkles like those on the neck, so I recommend using it on areas where you're concerned about wrinkles or hydration. I kept it in the refrigerator and applied the cool serum in a massaging motion - it quickly lowered my skin temperature, which felt great!

I've personally used Cicaplast Baume B5 before. Texture: It has a runny, nasal-discharge-like consistency that tends to drip when applied. I found it best to apply from the top down, which actually made it easier to spread. Application: It's very fluid, so it glides on smoothly and adheres quickly to the skin. Effectiveness: When it comes to soothing and hydration, this product excels more in calming the skin. Before using this, my skin was quite rough from daily makeup and mask-wearing. I saw the most dramatic improvement within just a day or two of use.
ConsHydration: As someone with dry skin who needs a moisturizer even in summer, I found it insufficient for addressing deep dryness. While the serum alone leaves a firm finish, it felt like it sat on the surface. My T-zone dried out quickly, leaving only my cheeks feeling plump. Scent: The first thing that put me off was the strong scent when I opened it. It has an overpowering 'bathroom' or 'mom's cosmetics' smell. While you get used to it and it's not terrible, it's too strong for a skincare product. Longevity: The serum's hydration didn't last long - my T-zone felt dry in less than 30 minutes. Even when followed with Cicaplast Baume, I didn't feel it lasted very long. Price: I wasn't satisfied enough to repurchase with my own money. The price is too steep for the level of hydration, longevity, and amount you get. Packaging: One dropper-full wasn't enough to cover my whole face, but two was too much. It was hard to control the amount, and the essence that got on the outside of the dropper made the bottle neck dirty quickly. This needs improvement.
TipSoothing effect: For enhanced soothing, I used the serum together with Cicaplast Baume B5. I noticed more immediate effects and felt my skin becoming firmer. Hydration: I actually used it as a substitute for a moisturizer to boost hydration. After applying a light layer of toner or emulsion, I'd add a drop or two of this. It wasn't heavy at all and provided a lightweight hydration.

As someone with extremely dry skin, I had high hopes, and while I liked the hydration and texture, it wasn't quite right for my skin. I've been using my regular hydrating serum, which was almost finished, so I was excited to try this more expensive product. As expected, there were no issues with moisturization. The application felt rich and plump, with a noticeable hydrating effect. I appreciated how it kept my skin hydrated for a long time, making it worth trying for those with dry skin.
ConsDespite providing the much-needed hydration for dry skin, the downside is the overpowering fragrance. I'm used to products with little to no scent or just the natural smell of ingredients, so this strong cosmetic fragrance was quite noticeable. Whether it was due to this or not, I started developing blemishes after using it twice, even though I don't usually have sensitive skin. As a result, I couldn't continue using it regularly. The strong scent was off-putting, and it seemed to make my skin react sensitively. I wish they had toned down the fragrance - it's a big disappointment. I've temporarily stopped using it before an important event to avoid any breakouts. If I try it again later and find it's okay, I'll update my review!

For someone with extremely dry skin like me, this formula seems perfect for winter use. It's a bit stickier and smoother than water. It's great to apply a few extra layers when your skin feels parched. I've been experiencing some deep dryness lately, but after applying this, my skin felt moisturized again. This product had the best hydrating effect among all I've tried.
Cons✗ Fragrance The scent is overpowering. It feels like I'm applying perfume to my face rather than a serum. I don't understand why they needed to add such a strong fragrance. ✗ Absorption & Finish The runny texture doesn't absorb quickly. As a result, if you don't control the amount well, it can leave a sticky finish. However, you'll get used to applying the right amount with continued use.
Tip2-3 drops are sufficient for one application. I found it's better to apply 2 drops first, then add one more drop. This method results in a less sticky finish.

I bought it because the ingredient analysis showed no harmful components.
ConsIt has the typical issue of French and European cosmetics - the fragrance. The scent is way too strong. The unnecessary fragrance is overpowering, and possibly due to the caprylic~ ingredient (coconut?), I'm getting a lot of blemishes. It feels sticky and uncomfortable. I'm giving it one star because it causes skin irritation.

When applied to my face, I appreciated that it didn't feel heavy. However, I can't pinpoint any particularly outstanding features.
ConsThe dropper is absolutely terrible, I really dislike it. It seems like more product gets stuck around the bottle opening than actually dispensed. Even after wiping, it quickly becomes messy. Additionally, the fragrance is overpowering. While it's not an unpleasant scent, it's too strong and intense for my liking.
