I received a sample from the La Roche-Posay website and tried it out. Skin type: Dry, sensitive, and prone to breakouts Texture: Watery, like a runny nose Absorption: Absorbs reasonably well. Don't apply the lotion right away, wait a bit and it will absorb with minimal stickiness. Review: No breakouts, absorbs without stickiness! Recommended skin types: Almost all skin types, but may be too drying for very dry skin.
Cons

[Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review] - Usual Skin Type Severely dehydrated!!! I have sensitive combination skin.. I used to have normal-to-oily skin that didn't feel dry, but recently it has become more combination with increased dryness. The mother who used it with me is a tough, dry-skinned person who is not sensitive at all. - Usage Experience Since this is a hyaluronic acid serum, the main thing I expected was the moisturizing effect. As the seasons changed, my skin was cracking and getting dry, causing flaking.. The B5 serum has a viscous, stretchy texture that you can feel when you pull out the dropper. Even though I have oily skin, I really liked the dense, bouncy texture that felt comfortable when applied. It spreads thinly and smoothly, and when patted in, it leaves a dense, moisturized feeling. I'm very satisfied! - Moisturizing Effect It's hard for a formula like this to not have good moisturizing properties, right? I had been using a different toner and moisture serum from summer until just before using this product, so my skin was quite dry. But after using the B5 serum, my skin felt deeply moisturized and nourished. When applied, the dryness completely disappears, and it leaves a dense, moisture-sealed sensation.

- Fragrance The fragrance... I usually don't mind cosmetic fragrances and even like them, but this one just didn't agree with me. On the first day, I was like, 'Hmm, it's still usable.' This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review!! 1. The product itself has excellent moisture power. It feels slightly heavy? Since it's a serum developed for elasticity, the bouncy texture is quite strong. 2. I didn't experience any breakouts! It seems well-suited for non-sensitive dry skin types. Even when applying just one layer of the base, the serum itself does not feel dry or tight due to the hyaluronic acid. 2. The texture is rich but absorbs quickly. The glow is also very nice. 3. I think the firming ingredients may have helped, as the areas I used it on (cheeks and neck) feel a bit plumper. My mother also said the neck wrinkles seemed a bit improved, and she was pleased. 4. Texture: It is a runny serum formula that immediately flows down my face as soon as I apply it. This made it easy to spread, though. Spreadability: It is very thin and spreads smoothly. The product adheres to the skin quickly after application. Product Effect: Focusing on the soothing and moisturizing aspects, this product is more effective in soothing than moisturizing. ✔ Moisturizing Power The moisturizing power is close to that of an ampoule rather than a serum. With my extremely dry skin, this formulation seems like it will work well for me in the winter. It's a bit sticky/slick, not watery. Applying a few extra layers when my skin is dry works well. Even though I've been getting gradually drier lately, after applying this, my skin became moisturized again. This was the product with the best moisturizing effect.

❌Fragrance The fragrance is too strong. It's a serum, but it feels like I'm applying perfume to my face. I don't know why they had to put such a potent fragrance in it. ❌Absorption & Finish The watery-like texture doesn't absorb very quickly. As a result, if you use too much, the finish can be sticky. But as I used it more, I was able to figure out the right amount to apply.

This is a typical problem with French/European cosmetics. The fragrance is too strong. The unnecessary fragrance is overpowering. I purchased it after trying it on the back of my hand, and it felt so soft and moisturizing, which is why I decided to buy it. When I applied it to my face, it wasn't heavy at all, and I liked it. I'm not sure if there are any particularly good points about it.
