  The rich moisturizing effect is instant upon application. It seems like a good choice for the dry, chilly days of early spring and winter.

  Pros

  This product has a rich texture, so it doesn't fully absorb just by patting. I found that using the warmth of my palms helps it absorb much better. It's incredible how hydrating this is - applying just this after cleansing feels like I've used a full moisturizing routine. While I prefer quick-absorbing products in the morning, this has become my go-to for when my skin needs extra care. Pairing it with a derma-brand cream before bed really improves my skin condition by the next day. It's a great emergency product to have on hand for those times when your skin needs a boost.

  Cons

  Compared to other hyaluronic acid serums, this one has an extremely rich consistency. It doesn't fully absorb, leaving a slightly sticky feeling on the skin. Because of this, I don't think those with oily skin could use this at all during summer.

  You'll be amazed twice: first by the firm, bouncy texture when applied, and then by how plump your skin becomes. The fragrance is pleasantly subtle, and the product feels more hydrating than oily, giving a sensation of intense moisture.

  Cons

  The price is admittedly quite steep, which can be a bit painful. However, it does feel like you're getting your money's worth. The texture might be a bit too rich for summer use, as it's quite thick and could feel heavy in hot weather.

  Pros

  My usually dry hands, feet, and ankles absorbed this cream incredibly well, leaving them feeling deeply moisturized. It had very little stickiness too.

  Cons

  For my combination and blemish-prone face, it felt a bit rich (which I expected). The more I applied, the stickier it became, but that might be because I used a lot (I slather it on generously at night). It wasn't ineffective though.

  Tip

  This could be the perfect choice for those with extremely dry skin.

  1. Skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin with hormonal blemishes and acne-prone skin. I was searching for a solution to my severe blemishes and dryness. My skin is extremely dry, blemish-prone, and super sensitive. It's truly problematic skin - the epitome of sensitivity. 2. Texture: It's not particularly lightweight. The consistency is slightly thick and has a rich texture. However, you can feel it deeply nourishing your skin. It's essential to apply this after your toner, booster, and essence steps. 3. When to use: For those with dry skin, it might cause pilling if used in the morning. For best results, apply it at night after cleansing before bed. The next morning, you'll wake up to skin with an enviable Inner Glow.

  Cons

  1. Price: It's not cheap. It's over 50,000 won for just 12ml. You need to use it sparingly. However, it's the only La Roche-Posay product I buy and use regularly, and it's truly worth the high price - even better than dermatological prescriptions. Highly recommended for extremely sensitive and dry skin types. 2. Packaging: The dropper... well, due to the thick consistency, it's almost useless. You could practically apply it with a wooden stick. I'm not sure why they chose a dropper design. A tube would have been more practical and probably more cost-effective too.

  Tip

  For the ultimate nighttime routine, I highly recommend using Vichy's Aqualia Thermal Boosting Essence Water + Hyalu B5 Serum + Cicaplast Baume B5 Daily Damage Repair Cream. It's truly a game-changer!

  Pros

  I have combination skin that occasionally gets a pimple on my chin during my menstrual cycle or when I'm not feeling my best. My skin feels a bit tight during seasonal changes, but I don't have other blemishes and I'm not particularly sensitive to cosmetics. Before this, I used Bioderma's blue-capped hydrating essence. Looking for something richer with more oil and moisture balance, I tested this product and then bought it at Olive Young. I've finished my first bottle and while it feels slightly sticky, I'm satisfied with its high hydration level. The scent is just right, and one bottle lasted me 40 days. I plan to purchase a second bottle.

  Cons

  One downside is that it's a bit pricey for what you get. Also, due to the sticky texture of the liquid, the bottle opening tends to get a bit messy. I recommended it to my older sister, but she wasn't fond of the sticky feeling. Because of its rich texture, I'll probably switch to Bioderma's hydrating essence line in the peak of summer since my face tends to sweat a lot.

  Pros

  It's genuinely hydrating with a very rich texture. After application, there's this feeling of plumpness, like your skin is being filled up? No deep dryness, and I love the firm, bouncy feeling. It absorbs well and truly feels packed with nourishment.

  Cons

  The downside is that it's so rich that makeup tends to pill over it. Also, it gets dry in the afternoon... It's noon now and I'm starting to feel the dryness creeping in. It's great when you apply it and for an hour or two after, but when you're doing your makeup or when your makeup starts to break down in the afternoon, it's not ideal. I might need to use this as an evening serum and look for a different one... Also, the dropper is a bit thick, making it awkward to use. Feels like it might drip everywhere.

  Tip

  As mentioned above, I'd recommend it if you're only using it in the evening!
