I loved how it calmed my blemishes significantly when I applied it to troubled areas before bed The price is quite high for the amount you get, so you need to be mindful of how much you use - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2021
I bought this product based on my dermatologist's recommendation. While I didn't see dramatic effects on blemishes or sebum, it seems like a great option for those with oily skin who want non-greasy skincare. After application, it feels moisturizing and absorbs quickly like water, without leaving any rich residue. The price seems a bit steep for the amount you get. Personally, I found the tube packaging convenient for controlling the amount used. - in*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2020
This is a product I've been using as prescribed by my dermatologist! I've noticed it's effective in controlling sebum. Since I started using this product, I haven't experienced any major blemishes, so I've been recommending it to people around me. I've repurchased it six times already! There are no downsides. If you have oily skin and are struggling with excess sebum and oil, you absolutely must give this a try! - th*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2020
It feels just like an aloe gel, so it doesn't sting or irritate my skin! Most blemish spot treatments tend to be harsh and cause skin reactions, but this one feels gentle like aloe! While I'm not entirely sure about its effectiveness, I do think it has a slight positive impact on red blemishes, at least from my perspective. The amount you get is ridiculously small. It's just slightly larger than a thimble... And if you accidentally squeeze out too much, you're basically throwing away a few dollars worth of product. I find cotton swabs absorb too much product, and using fingers seems unhygienic. So I just apply the spot gel directly to my face by gently pressing the tube and dabbing small amounts where needed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2020
It definitely seems to have excellent soothing effects. When I apply it to areas with blemishes before bed, they calm down within a few days. I'm really enjoying using this product! The price seems too high for the amount you get. Also, as you use it, it can be difficult to control the amount dispensed, sometimes resulting in too much product coming out at once. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2019
I apply this to my forehead and T-zone when blemishes start to appear. Since it's a spot treatment that controls sebum, you need to apply it several times to see results on blemishes. It seems to be quite effective at controlling excess oil. It's a gel type, and since you don't need to apply it over large areas, even a gentle squeeze can make it come out forcefully. I think I just need to work on controlling the pressure better. Despite this, I highly recommend it based on its effectiveness. - mo********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 26, 2018
It really helps control excess oil. The size is super compact, making it so convenient to carry around. The price is wickedly high. However, if you get it from a dermatologist's office, it's only about 10,000 won. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 17, 2018
The AC spot gel arrives quickly, and I found it quite effective. Although I haven't used it for long, I don't typically get acne, so I've only tried it on a few slightly raised blemishes. It has a mild antiseptic scent, absorbs well, and feels hydrating. Despite being labeled for oily skin, it surprisingly suited my dry skin too. The price point of 18,000 won doesn't seem particularly cheap, and it's a bit disappointing that it contains one potentially harmful ingredient. Also, the opening where the product comes out is too large, which is a bit frustrating. Since the tube is only partially filled, you sometimes end up squeezing out much more than needed when trying to get the product out. That was slightly disappointing. Use clean hands instead of cotton swabs! The AC spot gel is a gel-type product, quite different from ointments like Fucidin or Madecassol, so it gets absorbed by cotton swabs very quickly. I found I needed about 1.5 times more product when using cotton swabs compared to applying with hands. I think it's better to use it with hands washed thoroughly with soap! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 19, 2018
I highly recommend this product! As someone who struggles with blemishes around the chin and temple areas, I decided to try this famous spot treatment. I purchased it at a decent price using a coupon on their website. Honestly, acne has been tormenting me since my teens, and it feels like it's here to stay. I guess good skin is something you're born with, unfortunately. Since I stopped taking acne medication, I've been getting small breakouts here and there. That's why I gave this product a shot, and wow! It's way better than most spot treatments I've tried. I'm not sure why Hwahae doesn't sell ENCA products, but their cosmetics are really impressive. I've used several well-known spot treatments, but this one is truly exceptional. It works wonders on inflamed blemishes. Although I've only used it for a few days, it helps control excessive sebum production and soothes the skin. The gel-like texture absorbs well without pilling when layered with other products. You can even apply multiple layers if needed. Given its effectiveness, I plan to stick with this spot treatment from now on. The price is a bit steep, unfortunately. ENCA, please consider lowering your prices! Make sure to buy it during sales events. The product volume is quite small, which is a downside. Other than that, I have no complaints.
