I bought it at a great price during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion.
ConsIt's stiffer than expected, so you need to press hard when applying it to your face. It wears out quickly when used on the body.

No irritation. Easy to apply.
ConsRuns out quickly. It feels powdery, but I'm not sure if it's absorbing well. Somewhat stiff when applying.
TipFor dry areas, apply a small amount of oil and gently massage it in for better absorption.

The 15ml size is compact, making it convenient to carry around.
ConsThe application isn't as smooth as some other products. Some sunsticks glide on very softly but can be a bit sticky. This one feels less smooth, probably because it has a more matte finish.

Pick the wrong one, and hello blemishes! That's been my experience. I've had to abandon so many products after they caused breakouts. I usually prefer cream sunscreens, but I decided to take a chance on this stick. I prioritized the ingredients, and hoped it would have less white cast compared to creams (as a guy, I really dislike visible sunscreen). And it's a winner! As you can see in the photo, it's compact and super convenient to carry. It feels more powdery than creams, which is great. You can still feel that you're wearing something, but it's not heavy or uncomfortable. I love that I can trust the ingredients, and best of all, no blemishes! I think I'll be sticking with this for my daily sun protection until I find something even better.
Cons✗ Small amount for the price ✗ Slightly irritating ✗ A bit draggy As many have pointed out, it's on the pricier side. I have a red spot on my nose bridge that flares up with irritating products. This sunstick did cause some redness, though less than others I've tried. Still, it's worth noting there's some potential for irritation. The texture feels a bit draggy when applying. I'm at the age where I need to be careful around my eye area, and when I use this stick near my eyes, I can see the delicate skin getting pulled. I wish it glided on a bit more smoothly. While it's slightly tacky, it's actually quite powdery for a sun product.
TipKeep in mind that if you use heavy skincare products underneath, this sunstick might not apply as smoothly and could cause pilling.

After testing UV protection, it seems to block better than domestic PA+++ products. Causes less irritation compared to other Korean products. Thanks to its primer function, it feels powdery after application - almost like you're not wearing anything.
ConsIt's so thick that it drags on the skin when applying. Not saying it pills, just that it's hard to spread. Recently, UVA has become known as the main culprit for aging, so we're seeing more PA++++ products. That's good. In the past, I often turned to foreign products when looking for high PA and properly stabilized formulas, as there weren't many suitable options here. I'm still skeptical about trusting the PA ratings on current Korean sunscreens, given that past products often fell short in tests compared to their claimed protection. This isn't just based on my experiments, but also on domestic and international studies. Looking at the ingredients of this and other high PA products nowadays, it's hard to believe they could achieve such high protection without some new breakthrough ingredient - which they don't have. This product is no exception, so I tested its UV protection. See the photo for reference. For a while, The Saem was the only road shop brand offering sun sticks, so I compared it with their Eco Power Sun Stick PA+++ (three plus signs). The left side is The Saem, which is the brightest, indicating the weakest protection. The test used fluorescent-coated A4 paper, applying each product twice over a similar area. The dark mark in the center bottom is Cetaphil's Daylong SPF50 PA+++ sunscreen, which I've reviewed before. I only applied a tiny amount out of curiosity, but the difference was stark. This product seems to effectively block UVA based on its composition, which explains the results. The rightmost is this Make P:rem product. Actually, I got tanned using this during extended outdoor activities. While I generally think well of this brand these days, this product, though free of artificial fragrances, contains fragrance substitutes like lavender oil and orange peel oil. It's hard to believe the safety index of just 1, as it's well known that lavender contains allergens like linalool. So it's similar to why people hate Dior's fragranced products - it contains potential allergens. Don't blindly trust the low hazard rating; it could cause itching for some people.
TipAmong this brand's sun care line, ingredient-wise, I only like the fluid product I reviewed before. However, it's extremely drying. I use just one drop daily. Remember, UVA levels are higher in spring than summer, so make sure to use a product with proper PA protection.
