I've been using this on my upper arms where I have keratosis pilaris, and when I apply a generous amount of the emulsion after showering, my skin feels noticeably smoother! It's a bit unfamiliar since it's a product you need to use before your regular routine. It also has a somewhat masculine scent to it. - rl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 29, 2016
I decided to buy this product because the ingredients looked better than other scrubs. After checking the ingredients of body scrubs in various road shops downtown, this one seems to be the gentlest (among the road shop brands I know)! The scent is pleasant and subtle. The scrub particles aren't too large, so it's not harsh on the skin. Unlike some other G** products, the granules are small and gentle, which I find quite nice. Since it doubles as a body wash, using both the scrub and body wash together is like killing two birds with one stone. While you shouldn't use it solely as a body wash, using this product alone for a quick shower twice a week should suffice. I hope to keep using this until it's discontinued. Hehe! 1. Yes, being a road shop product, the biggest issue would be potential discontinuation. The sales assistant said it hasn't been out for long, but it doesn't seem to be a well-known product yet. It's gentle and good, so why isn't it more popular? Sigh... 2. It's clearly a body product, so why is it only the size of a facial foam cleanser? Since we use it all over the body, we tend to use quite a bit each time. But with this small size, I wonder if it'll last even 10 uses? It's a bit annoying to buy frequently, so next time I'll stock up on 2-3 bottles. I've heard somewhere that you shouldn't stockpile cosmetics due to expiration dates, but with this small size, there's no choice. I guess there's no worry about expiration since it'll be used up quickly. 3. As someone with atopic, sensitive skin, I do get slight redness. Even though the ingredients seem fine and it appears to be low-irritation, this happens to me. It's unavoidable with scrub products due to the particles, but other people probably won't have this issue. I'm extremely sensitive - even slightly cold water or going outside in winter causes my whole body to become red and bumpy like an allergic reaction. Of course, swimming pools, valleys, and beaches are no exception. I'm the type who needs to take it easy after playing in water for a short while. I've never met anyone else with skin as sensitive as mine, so other people shouldn't have this problem. It's small but worth using P.S. Rather than perfectly removing dead skin cells, it gently tidies things up. It's gentle, so I recommend giving it a try. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 7, 2015
The ingredients seem good. I didn't buy it, but I tried the tester in-store. The staff mentioned it's the type that rolls off like dead skin cells. It has a slightly masculine cologne scent lingering. If it weren't for that, I would have bought it. The fragrance isn't particularly pleasant, and as a woman, I'm hesitant to use something with a masculine scent. I wonder why they chose to add that kind of fragrance - is this meant for men? - sr*******Combination SkinAtopic SkinWrinkles/ElasticityJul 19, 2015
I bought this body scrub because the ingredients stood out as particularly good. The price wasn't bad when I purchased it online, and it seems to exfoliate decently well. The scent is quite nice too. When I leave it in the bathroom and open the lid to use it, water leaks out... What's going on?
