After use, my skin felt softer and more hydrated. Even with my oily skin, this product worked wonders. It didn't cause any blemishes, and overall, the product's effectiveness was impressive.
ConsHowever, since it's a powder, I found myself reaching for it less often. I wouldn't recommend this to those who dislike the hassle of dissolving it in water to create a lather.

It seems to gently remove dead skin cells, though subtly. The cleansing power isn't too harsh, so it leaves your skin feeling hydrated. I was surprised by how long it lasts. It seems to work better for combination to dry skin types rather than oily skin.
ConsSince it's a powder, it might irritate your face if you don't dissolve it completely before cleansing. Make sure to mix it well with water before applying it to your skin!
TipI use this as a second cleanser after my cleansing oil, washing my face twice. For the first cleanse, I use a small amount to remove any remaining oil. Then for the second cleanse, it lathers well and provides effective cleansing.

Dermatology clinics sell the same ingredients at more than double the price.
ConsBeing a powder type, it tends to clump around the opening of the container.

I use cleansing water for my first cleanse, and this for my second. After washing, my skin doesn't feel tight at all. The scent is also pleasant - a subtle green tea fragrance that isn't off-putting.
ConsI was hoping it would be effective at exfoliating, but it doesn't seem to care for deep-seated dead skin cells. It does manage surface exfoliation without irritation though. At first, I was confused because it doesn't lather well. To create a rich foam without a bubble net, try adding a few drops of water to the powder and wait about 5 seconds for it to dissolve. Then, gently rub it with your wet right hand, and you'll get a luxurious lather. The foam you create by hand isn't super fine, but it's definitely usable.
TipTo create foam without a bubble net, put the powder in your left hand, add a few drops of water, and wait 5 seconds. Then use your right hand to work up a lather. Don't rub it directly on your face, as the powder particles might irritate your skin. Since I use it as a second cleanser, I don't need as much as a 500 won coin size. Adjust the amount and try creating foam - it should last over 3 months.

I really dislike that typical feeling of cleansing foams, but this one is genuinely so mild and soft that it doesn't stress out my skin at all! I'm already on my second bottle. I've been using only powder cleansers for 5 years now, and whenever I tried to repurchase my usual product, it kept getting discontinued. So I've tried various powder cleansers that were highly recommended, and among them all, I think Sidmool's biggest advantage is its price! It's amazing that we can get such a great product with good ingredients at this price point.
ConsHaving used several powder cleansers, I can't help but compare. With Sidmool's, it seems particularly tricky to get the water-to-powder ratio right for a rich lather. If you add even a little too much or too little water, it doesn't foam up at all... But as you use it, you'll eventually figure out the right amount, so don't worry!

Even though I had just cleansed, it felt like my skin was deeply hydrated to its core.
ConsSince it's in powder form, I couldn't risk storing it in the bathroom, just to be safe.

I was amazed that there was zero tightness and zero oiliness after use.
ConsThe amount is a bit small, and some powder flies away during the lathering process. But overall, I'm satisfied!
TipIt's best to lather up the powder in your hands first before applying.

No irritation on the skin. The ingredients are also good.
ConsBeing a powder type, I sometimes fail to control the amount. The most disappointing thing is that it doesn't lather well, probably because it's so gentle. After trying it myself, I can confirm that it really doesn't foam up much, unlike what some other reviews suggest. Be aware of this.

I didn't expect much cleansing effectiveness, but it removes sunscreen! (Of course, I still follow up with soap for a second cleanse.) It's a low pH product.
ConsIt's inconvenient to use. Out of laziness, when I try to mix the powder with tap water in my hand, I always struggle with the water-to-powder ratio. About a third of the powder ends up down the drain. Another quarter is lost while trying to lather it up. When I try to cut corners and create lather directly on my face to save product, the undissolved granules feel like a scrub and hurt my skin.
TipTo manage the water flow, I turn the tap on and off to catch drips for lathering. It would probably work really well if you put some powder in a small bowl, add a bit of water, and create a lather before applying. But as a lazy girl, I doubt I'll ever do that...

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis cleanser is incredibly gentle. I have sensitive, dehydrated, combination skin prone to inflammatory acne, but I've never experienced any issues with this product. As a cleanser, I can't say I've noticed any specific effects. However, I'm thoroughly satisfied and have been using it for a long time for two main reasons: 1. It's so mild that it doesn't cause any blemishes, and 2. It doesn't strip moisture from my skin (there's no feeling of tightness after use).
ConsSince this is a powder type cleanser, it can get clumpy like dough when it comes into contact with water. After each use, powder residue always remains around the container opening. When this residue gets wet, it sticks to the opening like a paste. As this builds up over time, it becomes difficult to dispense the product. It also looks unhygienic. As a result, I always have to clean the opening, which is quite bothersome.
TipTo use, dispense about a coin-sized amount onto wet hands and rub together. Foam forms quickly (though not as rich as other foam cleansers). Gently massage the foam onto your face in circular motions, then rinse off. It doesn't cause any irritation and leaves no feeling of tightness on the skin.
