The cleansing power seems gentle. It's mild on the skin. Since it has granules, I slightly wet my hands, work up a lather, and then apply it to my face. The cleansing effectiveness appears to be a bit weak. It looks like double cleansing might be necessary. This cleanser seems to prioritize gentleness over deep cleansing. While it may not remove all makeup or impurities in one go, its mild formula could be ideal for those with sensitive skin or for morning cleansing. The granules provide a light exfoliation, which can help remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture. For a more thorough cleanse, especially in the evening or after wearing heavy makeup, you might want to consider using this as part of a double cleansing routine. - yu*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 1, 2025
The powder feels slightly coarse as mentioned in the product description, but that's only the initial sensation on your palms. Once dissolved in water, it becomes silky smooth. Compared to other brands, this product seems to suit my skin better, like it was made for me. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight or slippery - it's just right. While it might not produce enough lather for body washing, there's plenty of foam for facial cleansing. If you want to use it on your body as well, you'll need to use more powder. The quantity is too small - I wish there was more product in the package. - ap*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
I've been using this since 2020. As someone with oily, combination dehydrated skin, this was my first enzyme powder cleanser. I've tried other powder-type enzyme cleansers since, but this one leaves my skin feeling the softest... It's truly amazing. The price isn't expensive either, so please, please try it! There are no downsides. You need to stock up when you buy it. You can't let it run out! Sprinkle it widely on your palm, use less water, and exfoliate with the powder granules for best results. - da******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
It seems to exfoliate dead skin cells effectively without causing irritation. I'll definitely keep using it! Being a powder type, it certainly doesn't lather up well. However, its advantages outweigh this drawback. - 94*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 29, 2024
I've been using this for about a month and wanted to share my thoughts. I heard enzyme powder cleansers are good for the skin, so I bought the Sidmool powder with my own money. It's gentle on my skin and I really like it! However, it might not be strong enough for deep cleansing, so on days when I wear makeup, I use the Sidmool foam cleanser instead. I only use the powder in the mornings. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't lather up much. It feels like I'm not getting quite as clean as I'd like... - eu*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2024
Recently, I tried two popular enzyme cleansers, but they were too harsh for daily use. So, I repurchased the Sidmool enzyme cleanser I used 10 years ago. Back then, I received many compliments on my makeup application and skin condition while using it. I wonder why I stubbornly stuck to only low pH cleansers following trends... Now I've come full circle and settled on this again! I can use it daily without irritation, and it leaves my skin soft and makeup-ready! When removing evening makeup: Cleansing oil + regular enzyme cleanser = irritation, but cleansing oil + Sidmool Green Tea Enzyme = no irritation. You could use a low pH cleanser + regular enzyme cleanser twice a week, but that means too many cleansing products from point makeup removers onward. So, I'm sticking with the Sidmool enzyme cleanser that can do it all in one step! There are no downsides. Being a powder, it's convenient for travel. The price is also reasonable. Make sure to dissolve the powder cleanser well in water. If not properly mixed, it may cause skin irritation during cleansing. - ql*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresSep 30, 2022
I decided to try this enzyme powder after one of my favorite YouTubers recommended it for daily dead skin cell care. However, it didn't really work for me! Whether I used it or not, my skin felt the same. Texture: It's a green powder cleanser. When you touch it, it's not completely smooth - you can feel some small granules. Cleansing effectiveness: Since it's a powder cleanser, it definitely produces less foam compared to other cleansing products. The foam itself is also less dense. Even with a bubble maker, you can't get rich lather. As a result, its cleansing power is somewhat lacking. It's a bit underwhelming as a second-step cleanser when wearing makeup. So I don't use it to remove makeup, just for exfoliation. Irritation: There is some irritation, but it's not from the ingredients or the product itself. The irritation comes from rubbing it on your skin during use. Since it's a powder, some granules remain even after foaming. The foam isn't rich or dense, so there's friction when you rub it on your skin, which can cause irritation. Effectiveness: It doesn't seem to exfoliate at all. After using it, I don't feel like any dead skin cells have been removed, and they actually haven't been. It truly feels the same whether I use it or not. So I've stopped using it lately... There's no point in using something that doesn't make a difference! - gk*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJun 19, 2022
It's incredibly gentle and doesn't irritate the skin at all. Although it says the particles are coarse, they completely dissolve in water, so there's no need to worry. Plus, the subtle green tea scent that emerges every time I use it is so relaxing! As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, cleansing and exfoliation are crucial for me. However, after using this product for my morning cleanse, I actually noticed an increase in small blemishes. Ironically, when I used an alkaline cleansing foam, it removed excess oil better and caused fewer skin issues. While it's good that it's gentle, it might be too mild to effectively remove dead skin cells. I tried this because I heard papain enzymes are good for oil control, but I think I'll have to switch to a different product. - st******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2021
As someone with combination dehydrated skin that's sensitive and prone to occasional blemishes, I find this cleanser gentle yet effective at managing dead skin cells. Compared to other cleansing foams, my skin feels noticeably brighter after use. Being a powder type, it feels like it gets used up quickly. If water gets into the opening, it's challenging to keep the lid area clean and well-maintained. - os*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 7, 2021
This is a product I'll use for life. I've gone through several bottles, and it works really well for me. My face stays clear of blemishes when I use it. It lathers up nicely, and the cleansing effectiveness is great, especially when I'm not wearing makeup. You do have to dissolve the powder to use it, but that didn't bother me. The scent is quite natural, which might be hit or miss for some people.
