While it didn't completely remove waterproof mascara, it cleaned everything else off nicely. Blackheads: I hadn't been taking good care of my skin, so I had a lot of blackheads built up. Even after using this product for a short time, I saw results! They noticeably lightened! I had one particularly stubborn blackhead, but after massaging the area diligently for about two days, it came out easily. I was really satisfied with that! Texture: It felt like a thin oil and flowed very smoothly. I liked that it wasn't sticky at all. Amount: I'm satisfied with the generous amount you get!
ConsWaterproof Mascara: It didn't remove waterproof mascara very well. But I expected that, so it was okay! Scent: There are very few scents I dislike, but honestly, this product's fragrance wasn't great. It felt like the smell lingered even after washing thoroughly. However, since I'm not too particular about scents, it was fine for me.
TipMy skin is very oily with lots of sebum, and I've been breaking out with acne lately! When Removing Makeup: 1. Dispense about 4-5 pumps into your hand. 2. Apply the cleansing oil evenly all over your face and massage for about a minute. 3. Wet your hands and emulsify for about 30 seconds. 4. Rinse thoroughly with water until you feel no oiliness. (The more you rinse, the better!) 5. Follow up with a gentle cleanse using a foam cleanser. Personally, I use a foam cleanser with a vibrating cleansing device. (I use the Xiaomi inFace vibrating cleanser on its lowest setting until the timer runs out) For Blackhead Removal: 1. Use about 2-3 pumps. 2. Apply the cleansing oil thoroughly to your nose and massage carefully for about a minute. 3. Wet your hands and emulsify for about 30 seconds. 4. Rinse thoroughly and carefully with water. 5. Follow up with a foam cleanser (and vibrating device if you have one) for a thorough cleanse. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'll do my best to answer.

Cleansing effectiveness The cleansing power is really great! I use a combination of Etude mascara fixer and Clio mascara, which is notoriously difficult to remove. But this cleansing oil removes it so gently and easily, it's super convenient. If it gets in your eyes, your vision might get a bit blurry, but it doesn't feel overly irritating, which is great. I love that I can remove everything in one go without needing a separate makeup remover. 2. Sebum and dead skin cell removal While I haven't seen effects on blackhead removal yet, I feel it's effective for removing sebum. My T-zone is oily, so I often have a lot of sebum and roughness on my nose, but after cleansing with this, it feels like the sebum is removed and my skin becomes really smooth. It gives a feeling of exfoliating the entire face, leaving it soft and silky all over! 3. Value for money As a student, I needed a cleansing oil but couldn't afford an expensive one. This product solved my dilemma perfectly! It comes in a large size at an affordable price, so I could buy it without hesitation.
Cons1. Fragrance There's only one downside! The scent is quite artificial, and since I generally dislike fragranced products, I found this aspect disappointing. If it were fragrance-free, it would have been absolutely perfect. Such a shame!

I'm currently on my third bottle, and while I can't emphatically say it's the absolute best (as I've only tried Ths'e and Bifesta cleansing oils before), I can share my experience. With previous oils, I occasionally got massive blemishes, but since switching to this product, I haven't had that issue at all. That's why I keep repurchasing it! It's effective enough to remove even Kiss Me mascara completely.
ConsWhen you first use it, there's a strong, almost oily scent that hits you. I've gotten used to it now, so it's not a problem for me anymore, but those who are sensitive to fragrances might find it unpleasant.

When emulsified with water and rinsed off, it doesn't leave that heavy, oily residue on your skin. It's so effective that you might not even need a second cleanse - no more icky feeling!
ConsWhile the lack of fragrance is probably healthier for the skin, I must admit... the scent during cleansing isn't exactly pleasant. After using it for a while, I've noticed it doesn't seem to remove sebum as thoroughly as I'd like. It's not ineffective, but compared to other products, it feels a bit less powerful in that department.

Refreshing Scent One thing I didn't like about previous cleansing oils was the slightly noticeable oil smell, but Neogen's cleansing oil has such a refreshing fragrance! It's like a very subtle floral scent, yet incredibly fresh. 2. Excellent Cleansing As expected from a cleansing oil, it removes makeup really well! 3. Great Texture Even though it's a cleansing oil, it feels light like a cleansing water, which I love. Compared to other oils, this one has a superior texture. Overall, it's incredibly lightweight and maintains a pleasant feel, making the cleansing process enjoyable! Highly recommended!
ConsOverall, I really like this new Neogen Dermalogy Cica Cleansing Oil I switched to. It's much better! If I had to point out any downsides, it would be this: I previously used Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil Moisture, which seems to have slightly better cleansing effectiveness. However, the Real Art Cleansing Oil has a heavy texture and an unpleasant scent. After opening, it quickly develops a sort of petroleum-like odor? A bit of an unpleasant chemical smell? That's somewhat disappointing. The Neogen product, on the other hand, has a wonderful fragrance. While its cleansing power might be slightly less than Real Art, it's still more than sufficient. With its pleasant texture, I'm really happy with my switch to the Neogen cleansing oil.

First off, it doesn't sting my eyes, and it doesn't cloud my vision like Kose did. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lightweight oil cleanser!
ConsIf I had to pick something, it would be the scent. Since it's free from artificial fragrances, it doesn't have a pleasant aroma. While that's better for the skin in terms of irritation, those sensitive to scents might find it disappointing.
TipIn my 6 years as an Olive Young devotee, this is the first time I've seen a cleansing oil with Centella extract. As someone with dry skin who uses cleansing oils, I don't like heavy ones that leave an oily residue. This one, however, feels amazing! There's no tightness after cleansing, and it's not thick or heavy like some natural oils. It forms a nice barrier on the skin. I think it would work well for oily skin types too! Plus, with the Centella, it could be a holy grail for those with oily, blemish-prone skin! Definitely repurchasing this gem.
