It worked well when removing with cleansing oil after applying sunscreen I can't think of any particular downsides. All sunscreens seem pretty similar to me - ro*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 6, 2021
The texture isn't too oily and doesn't feel heavy. It feels gentle when massaging it in, with less irritation. The emulsification seems to work well too. I didn't notice a significant effect on blackheads - they weren't easily removed or dissolved. It seems you need to open up the pores thoroughly before using it. For best results, apply generously to a dry face, cover with plastic wrap, then place a steamed towel over it for about 5 minutes before massaging. - wk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedFeb 9, 2021
As a cleansing oil, it naturally excels at removing sebum. There's no need for a separate lip and eye makeup remover - it effectively removes point makeup while emulsifying beautifully. It rinses off cleanly with just water, leaving no residue, making your face feel as smooth as if you've done a double cleanse. It's fragrance-free and doesn't cause any blemishes. Even though I've only used it for about a month, I'm absolutely in love with it! The price is a steal when it's on sale. The 300ml bottle is generous, and being transparent, you can easily see how much you've used at a glance. I bought this based on recommendations, and I'm thoroughly satisfied. Among all the cleansing oils I've used, this is definitely in my top 3. It's truly a cleansing oil that eliminates the need for a second cleanse! The oil is extremely thin, so when you shake it before use, the oil that's collected in the pump can splash out. To prevent splashing, pump the oil into your palm first, then tap off any excess at the nozzle. This way, even when you shake it before use, the oil won't splash. - le********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 13, 2021
Cleansing effectiveness: It removes makeup really well. You can use this for your first cleanse alone, but make sure to massage it in for at least 30 times. I only use this for my first cleanse, and it effectively removed all my full-face makeup without any issues. (It's quite rich in texture, not a light oil consistency) Scent: It has a petroleum-like smell. It seems to be the natural scent of the ingredients, but I found it a bit overwhelming. In conclusion, while this product worked well for me, the scent is pushing me back on the path of a skincare nomad... The only downside is the scent. I'm not sure if it's a fragrance or just the smell of the ingredients. - ju*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 20, 2020
I bought this after watching Yuhwi's YouTube video! My friend tried it too and asked what it was because she liked it so much. The residual feeling typical of cleansing oils seems unavoidable! - ha*********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsOct 24, 2020
1. Dead skin cell removal The moment you use this oil, you can feel the dead skin cells and sebum melting away, creating a smooth sensation in your hands. 1. Emulsification While others mentioned it emulsifies well, I felt it didn't emulsify properly. This might be because I used a sample. 2. Finish Due to poor emulsification, my skin felt slippery after rinsing with water, which I didn't like. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 22, 2020
This cleansing oil is a lifelong friend for those blessed with oily skin and blackheads. Lately, I've been using it once or twice a week to dissolve excess sebum, even though I'm not wearing makeup. The oil feels light, and after use, it melts away those pesky sebum plugs, leaving my skin smooth. Even though I thought I rinsed thoroughly, there seems to be some imperceptible residue left behind, causing small blemishes around my nose. Occasionally, I also experience some dryness. When using cleansing oil, it's crucial to rinse very carefully and thoroughly to avoid blemishes. Keep the massaging and emulsifying steps under 30 seconds, but take your time with rinsing! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 15, 2020
I bought this after watching a video by a YouTuber I follow. Cleansing effectiveness: The cleansing power is truly impressive! It removes not just base makeup, but also eye and lip makeup completely. Ingredients: The ingredients are really good and gentle! My skin tends to break out with blemishes if there are pore-clogging ingredients, but this cleansing oil works well for me. Value for money: While it's a large 300ml bottle, I'm not sure if it's great value for money... Paying full price, I felt it was a bit expensive. Sebum removal: It did bring out some sebum plugs, but it didn't completely extract them as I had hoped. I had high expectations, so I was a bit disappointed that it didn't work as well as I thought it would. If you're looking for a decent, no-frills cleansing oil, this might be a good option! - py*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 5, 2020
I'm currently on my third bottle and often recommend it to others. It doesn't irritate my eyes or cause any discomfort. It cleanses well, comes in a generous size, doesn't cause blemishes, and has a perfect consistency - not too heavy, not too light. It's my favorite oil! To be honest, I can't think of any downsides. I'm just too satisfied with it... When you buy it during Olive Young sales, the satisfaction level goes through the roof. Such a great oil at this price!!! It's amazing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2020
Cleansing Effectiveness: I was surprised by how well it removed makeup! While it didn't completely remove waterproof mascara, it cleaned everything else off nicely. Blackheads: I hadn't been taking good care of my skin, so I had a lot of blackheads built up. Even after using this product for a short time, I saw results! They noticeably lightened! I had one particularly stubborn blackhead, but after massaging the area diligently for about two days, it came out easily. I was really satisfied with that! Texture: It felt like a thin oil and flowed very smoothly. I liked that it wasn't sticky at all. Amount: I'm satisfied with the generous amount you get! Waterproof Mascara: It didn't remove waterproof mascara very well. But I expected that, so it was okay! Scent: There are very few scents I dislike, but honestly, this product's fragrance wasn't great. It felt like the smell lingered even after washing thoroughly. However, since I'm not too particular about scents, it was fine for me. My skin is very oily with lots of sebum, and I've been breaking out with acne lately! When Removing Makeup: 1. Dispense about 4-5 pumps into your hand. 2. Apply the cleansing oil evenly all over your face and massage for about a minute. 3. Wet your hands and emulsify for about 30 seconds. 4. Rinse thoroughly with water until you feel no oiliness. (The more you rinse, the better!) 5. Follow up with a gentle cleanse using a foam cleanser. Personally, I use a foam cleanser with a vibrating cleansing device. (I use the Xiaomi inFace vibrating cleanser on its lowest setting until the timer runs out) For Blackhead Removal: 1. Use about 2-3 pumps. 2. Apply the cleansing oil thoroughly to your nose and massage carefully for about a minute. 3. Wet your hands and emulsify for about 30 seconds. 4. Rinse thoroughly and carefully with water. 5. Follow up with a foam cleanser (and vibrating device if you have one) for a thorough cleanse. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'll do my best to answer.
