Clio's signature coverage is truly unbeatable. I love that their shades match my complexion so well too! Don't expect this ampoule cushion to be like others on the market. Clio's interpretation of 'glow' and 'ampoule' gives a unique skin finish, and overall it leans towards a fairly matte look. - ok********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 14, 2023
I loved how it didn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry, and it seemed to give me a radiant glow. As I continued using it, I noticed some blemishes appearing gradually. It was disappointing to see that when it wore off, my skin took on a grayish tone. - ma***Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 11, 2023
When it comes to coverage among cushion compacts on the market, I'd rate this as ✨top-tier✨ based on my standards! This includes both drugstore and luxury brands. While I haven't tried every single one out there, after testing about 20 different cushions, I can confidently say that nothing beats this one in terms of redness coverage, resistance to breaking down, transfer-proof quality, and longevity. These four factors are where this product truly shines! Plus, when you snag it on sale, the value for money is unbeatable. Javind is trending these days, so I plan to do a comparison with it soon! There's not much to criticize, really. Even the packaging has become prettier lately. I just hope that any future upgrades will only improve the product and not make it worse. Before applying this cushion, remember that layering on thick skincare will naturally cause pilling! Keep it light! Just use toner + a light serum or essence, or a cream. If you still feel dry, spritz on some face mist generously. Then apply a thin layer of the cushion. If you need more coverage, mist again and apply a second thin layer. It's crucial to avoid pressing too hard with the puff from the start - that won't help! The key to beautiful skin is applying thin, light layers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresSep 10, 2023
It's pleasantly moisturizing and the color matches my complexion well, which is nice I keep getting small blemishes, so I can't use it often... I'm looking for something else to switch to. The Clio Cica Cushion worked well for me, but it's been discontinued, so I'm searching for another cica line - po********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2023
This is such a staple product, why is it being discontinued? Even with minimal skincare, it makes dry skin look great and helps makeup apply smoothly. There's nothing bad about it! If I had to nitpick, maybe it leaves marks on your phone... but that's just because it's so hydrating! - al********Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2023
Decent coverage and a suitable shade. It's a solid, reliable cushion foundation. It tends to break up and look patchy with a white cast over time. Also, it pills when applying. - ev******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2023
Overall impression>> The coverage is excellent, especially recommended for skin with blemishes! As it's an ampoule cushion, it gives a dewy glow effect, but it can feel like it evaporates quickly. For dry skin, make sure to have a solid base routine and lock in hydration to prevent patchiness. 🍃Coverage As expected, the CLIO Kill Cover line doesn't disappoint. It might be the highest coverage cushion I've used so far. It's a bit thick, so it can look matte and patchy. For dry skin, make sure to prep well before application. 🍃Longevity & Darkening I didn't notice any darkening, and the longevity was good. Once applied, you don't need touch-ups unless you're out for a long time. 🍃Other points The sun protection is great, so when I'm feeling lazy, I don't need to apply additional sunscreen! When first applied, it feels hydrating and gives a high glow, but it quickly sets to a matte finish, which can cause deep dryness for dry skin types. You can often find bundle deals with refills online or at Olive Young, making it more affordable to purchase. The thickness and matte finish make it tricky for touch-ups. Except for summer, it can look patchy if not applied thinly. It transfers quite a bit when wearing a mask. When first using it, it's easy to over-apply. Instead of pressing hard, think about tapping very lightly to pick up and apply the product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 5, 2023
The coverage seems to be better compared to other cushion foundations As I have sensitive skin, it tends to look patchy if I don't apply a thorough skincare routine first - gk*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2022
After trying everything, I always come back to Kill Cover. When it comes to coverage, Kill Cover is unbeatable. Even when it fades, it still looks pretty good. It's a shame that it can't create that natural, healthy skin look. - se********Dry SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2022
1. Skin Appearance I loved the beautiful Inner Glow effect. Among moisturizing cushions, some can make your skin look oily, but this one makes your complexion appear naturally flawless. 2. Longevity Even after applying makeup in the morning and being out all day, the base remains almost intact when I get home. While its staying power might slightly decrease in summer, it's generally quite good in other seasons. 1. Pilling When reapplying, it tends to pill, making it seem like the previously applied layer is peeling off. 2. Caking On days when my skin feels dry, I noticed some caking around the T-zone and forehead areas.
