After wiping my face with cotton pads every day, it feels a bit too harsh.

After using it, I feel refreshed and like my pores are well-cleansed.

So, I had one hive come up, but by using it consistently, I developed a tolerance(?) and it got better again. It seems to have been a bit sensitive at first.

Personally, I like this product. I used to use something milder than this, but when I started using this, it seemed a bit stronger.

I always use this product frequently as I think it's good for my skin.

First of all, the alcohol-based fragrance is a bit strong. Whereas I used to overlook such things in the past, now I'm wondering if I really need to use this. There are many other exfoliating toners available, after all.

The skin is well-exfoliated and has a refreshing, cool sensation. Since it's a large size, I could use it generously without any burden.

I tried purchasing the SK-II Clear Lotion as an alternative, but it felt more irritating than refreshing.
The moisturizing power is relatively weak, and I felt some tightness after using the toner.
When applying it with a cotton pad, the texture of the cotton felt more noticeable and irritating compared to other toners.

The alcohol content provides a slight refreshing sensation.
The price is reasonable considering the volume.

At first, I thought it might feel a bit stinging or irritating since the alcohol was quite high up on the ingredient list, but it turns out to be gentle without any irritation. However, those sensitive to alcohol might want to avoid it.
The alcohol scent is also noticeable after use, so it seems the product does contain a fair amount of alcohol, even if not in large quantities.

Wiping it on with a cotton pad leaves a refreshing feeling. This is probably due to the alcohol content.
However, despite the refreshing sensation, it's not overly drying.

I tried it after hearing great things about the Clinique liquid facial soap, but the strong alcohol scent and dryness didn't agree with my skin, causing increased oil production. So I generally try to avoid alcohol-containing toners.
But this product worked well without any bothersome dryness.

 Unlike the Clarifying Moisture Lotion, this product does a more thorough job of cleansing the skin, so it can potentially cause some tightness. To address the dryness, I recommend following up with a water-based essence, patting it in gently, and then finishing with a lotion or cream. This layering approach helps significantly reduce the dryness compared to just using this toner alone.

 Compared to the regular Clarifying Lotion, the alcohol sensation is definitely stronger in this product. But at least it's denatured alcohol, so my skin, which is sensitive to alcohol, doesn't react too badly to this. The strong scent, however, is unavoidable. No wonder it's nicknamed the 'soju skin' toner.

Interestingly, after the alcohol smell fades, an odd fragrance lingers, and it's not a pleasant one. I use SK-II Facial Treatment Essence to help soothe the tightness, and this product's scent is just as stubborn as the Facial Treatment Essence. On the bright side, the lack of artificial fragrance is a plus, which I do appreciate.

And true to its name, using this twice a day might be a bit drying. I only use it in the evenings after cleansing, and in the mornings, I just do a water rinse and use a different toner. Even for oily skin types, repeatedly wiping the surface of the skin can be irritating in the long run, especially as the weather gets drier in the fall.

Also, while they removed the artificial fragrance, they did include artificial coloring, so the cotton pad has a slight greenish tint when soaked. Those sensitive to dyes may not react well to this.

In my opinion, this is a decent summer option, but with so many toner choices these days, I wouldn't consider it a standout best buy. However, it's not just a plain water rinse either, and you can clearly see residue and dead skin cells being removed, so it does stay true to its original purpose.

 I went to Lohbs and accidentally bought the wrong product, thinking it was the Clarifying Moisture Lotion I used before. But it's not bad to use this for exfoliating during the summer. I think it's a reliable product for cleansing and refining skin texture.

You just need to soak a thick cotton pad thoroughly and wipe your face once. Even without scrubbing hard, you can see residue coming off on the cotton pad, so it seems to work well as a 'toner' as intended.

The lack of artificial fragrance is also a plus in my opinion. Of course, the initial strong soju-like smell and the strange smell at the end are unavoidable, but I prefer this over products with artificial scents.

Clinique products aren't overly expensive considering the volume (I think I got the 400ml one for around 40,000 won on sale), so if it suits you, it can be a decent option. As a dry-skined person, I used to just use the Clarifying Lotion, but for the oily summer, this product works well without causing much tightness. It also seems to be good for bacne.

I've even shared some with my boyfriend. He says it feels soothing and disinfecting around his mouth and chin area after shaving, thanks to the alcohol.

It's probably best not to use it too frequently. Maybe only use it after removing makeup.
