Last year, I struggled with seborrheic dermatitis for about 3 months. I went to a famous dermatologist in Jangseungbaegi, got steroid prescriptions, adjusted my diet, and tried everything, but nothing seemed to work. Those who've experienced it know it can drive you crazy - the itching, scratching until you bleed... I bought several shampoos, carefully checking ingredients, but after many failures, I ended up giving them to family members. It was a really tough 3-4 months. Then, by chance, a friend recommended this product. I started with a sample online, and incredibly, within 3-4 days, I realized I wasn't scratching my head anymore. It made me realize how much the products we use can directly affect our skin. This shampoo truly opened my eyes to how effective the right product can be! The downside is the price. As the saying goes, 'A frog forgets its days as a tadpole' - now that my condition has improved so much, it does feel a bit expensive. But when you're in a desperate situation like I was last year, you don't really have the luxury to worry about the cost... My seborrheic dermatitis has cleared up completely now, so I alternate between this and other shampoos. If I feel a slight itch, I use Medision again for 2-3 days. Just make sure to buy it when it's on sale! - ke*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 12, 2024
The product's effectiveness is truly impressive. I saw great results when I used it for seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp. Ever since then, I've been recommending it to anyone looking for a shampoo for oily hair. The only downside is the price. I don't pay much attention to fragrance, so you can consider it unscented. It's a bit scary to use a lot of it due to the cost. - pu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 10, 2024
After developing seborrheic dermatitis, I tried using my regular shampoo, but my scalp became red and itchy. So I bought a seborrhea shampoo, and it's been working great! The redness on my scalp has disappeared, and the itching has significantly reduced. I'm definitely sticking with this shampoo. The lather is quite minimal, so you need to use a lot of product for a thorough cleanse. Given its high price, it feels wasteful to use so much each time. I wish it was a bit more affordable and produced more foam. For best results, try washing your hair twice. The first wash should be quick, just to remove excess oil. The second wash should be more thorough. Also, it's recommended to leave the shampoo on for a moment before rinsing for better effectiveness. - ek*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 5, 2023
About 10 years ago, I was suddenly diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis and was prescribed a shampoo at the hospital. It worked well then, but I stopped using it thinking I was fine. About a year later, it flared up again. I tried everything - no-poo method, silicone-free shampoos, various functional shampoos - but nothing worked. Then I discovered Seborea shampoo and bought a small bottle. As soon as I saw it, I realized it was the same one prescribed at the hospital! Sure enough, from the very next day after using it, I was freed from itching and scalp discharge. Since then, no matter what new 'miracle' shampoo comes out, I only use this one. It's been almost 10 years now. My scalp knows when I don't use it and the itching comes back. I'm known among my friends for having 'negative hands' - everything I like gets discontinued... This product absolutely must not be discontinued. If it does, who will take responsibility for my scalp? Please keep selling it for a long, long time! The downside is, of course, the price... It's expensive. I always buy the large size, which costs almost $100... It would be great if refills were available. After using it for nearly 10 years, producing container waste every time feels somewhat environmentally destructive... In the evening, I do a quick pre-wash, then apply the shampoo and remove my makeup. It takes just under 5 minutes, and afterwards my scalp feels refreshed. This is the method the hospital taught me when I first got the prescription. I've been shampooing like this ever since. For those who say it doesn't lather well, if you thoroughly wet your hair and apply the shampoo without squeezing out any water, you'll get a rich lather! Let's all break free from scalp dermatitis! - rl**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2022
After suffering from seborrheic dermatitis for 6 months and trying many shampoos, I realized that using a shampoo containing zinc pyrithione was most effective for me. So, I decided to purchase and use the Seborrhea Shampoo. As expected, the itching and dandruff disappeared, and the pain subsided as well. The shampoo is more expensive than other brands available in the market, and those with oily scalps might find it doesn't lather well. For those with oily scalps, it's crucial to pre-wash your hair, then follow up with this shampoo. When using the main shampoo, massage it into your scalp with your fingertips and leave it on for at least 3 minutes to see significant results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2022
I haven't found a better shampoo for my seborrheic scalp. Whenever my scalp feels a bit itchy or sensitive, I always come back to this shampoo. It's incredibly, unbelievably expensive. The price is really too much to handle. I'm desperately looking for a more affordable alternative... - go******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2022
As someone with seborrheic dermatitis and sensitive skin, I've been a shampoo nomad for ages. But among all the shampoos I've tried, this one is truly the absolute best - a hundred times over! It's eliminated everything: itching, scalp scabs, blemishes, and odor. While its cleansing power might not seem super strong, I was amazed that my scalp didn't get greasy even in summer. The price is downright wicked... If they could lower it a bit, I'd use this for life. You need to shampoo twice, and it doesn't lather well, so you end up using a lot each time. Even a 1000ml bottle only lasts a month. When the 1000ml is on sale, it's still in the $80 range. Spending $80-90 a month on shampoo feels a bit burdensome. Buy it when it's on sale. Say goodbye to scalp odor and greasiness completely! - qo****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2022
It's a bit pricier than expected, and you need to wash twice for the best results, which can be a bit of a burden to use daily. When my scalp acts up, I use it intensively for about 2 weeks as a focused treatment. There are a couple of downsides: 1) My hair seems to fall out more and get oily faster. If I wash at night, by morning it looks flat and greasy - not sure if it's actually oily or just more manageable. 2) I notice more hair fall when washing. With my usual Kerasys shampoo, I don't lose clumps, but with Seborea, it feels like I'm losing more than just a few strands. Despite these issues, it's the only thing that's helped my scalp when even Nizoral couldn't, so I still recommend it with 4 stars. It's best to wash your hair at night, and always do two washes. For the first, wash as usual. For the second, apply the shampoo and leave it on for 5-10 minutes while you finish your shower, then rinse. This helps you see results faster. Since the shampoo is a bit expensive, I started by using it for both washes, but now I use a different shampoo for the first wash. I initially paired it with TS, which was great for dandruff and itching. Now I use Kerasys, which works well too. While TS and Seborea were better for dandruff and itching, Kerasys and Seborea seem to cause less hair fall, less greasiness, and less split ends. Maybe it's because both are anti-hair loss shampoos? Anyway, if you can, use a scalp pack too. When I bought this, they included their scalp pack as a gift. It caused less hair fall and felt more like a treatment - my hair was less dry and didn't get as greasy. - ja********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2022
When my scalp is flaring up, this product works wonders. I use a different shampoo for the first wash (this one's too pricey to waste!), then follow up with this for the second wash. I massage it in well and leave it for 5 minutes before rinsing. I often skip conditioner, but my hair doesn't feel stiff at all. If anything, it seems even more bouncy and silky! The price is the main drawback. It's hard to justify spending so much on a daily shampoo. That's why I only buy it when my scalp is really acting up, and once it's better, I switch back to regular supermarket shampoo. Make sure to do a pre-wash! It enhances the effectiveness and speeds up the improvement. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2022
My child had seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp and we tried many medications without success. But after using this product, there's been a significant improvement! However, the price is a bit of a burden. The price is quite steep, unfortunately. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied! The effects are even better with a gentle massage. Lightly rubbing it in works wonders.
