Among all the moisturizing lip products I use, this one really stood out. Personally, I loved the cute packaging too. The color wasn't too red or intense, which I appreciated. It's truly hydrating with excellent color payoff. The juicy red lip tint is easy to apply even when your lips are a mess due to dead skin cells. It's under $10 when on sale! The case quality is exactly what you'd expect for a $4 drugstore lipstick in Japan... Can you believe the cap opened in my bag twice, leaving lipstick smeared everywhere? Now it's relegated to my vanity. Also, true to its moisturizing nature, the staying power isn't great. If you're carrying it with you, make sure to twist it all the way down and close the cap tightly after use. It applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel, and the subtle color creates a natural, my-lips-but-better look. The shade is light yet pigmented enough to enhance your natural lip color beautifully! The packaging is also quite pretty! There's absolutely nothing to complain about with this product. I'm definitely planning to repurchase!

It suits cool skin tones beautifully. These days, glossy finishes look even more stunning. When I apply this over a base, it looks truly amazing. As expected with a gloss, the staying power is a bit lacking. The ingredients aren't the best either. If you're looking for that Japanese magazine-style, hydrated, juicy red lip look, this is the product for you. It's not a pure red, and the color varies depending on your natural lip tone, so try it on before buying. The color doesn't sheer out too much, and while transparent, it still shows your natural lip color. The price is affordable, and now that I look at it, the ingredients are good too. I bought this when I went to Japan for a school benchmarking trip recently, and it was really nice to apply on bare lips. The color wasn't too intense and blended well with my natural lip color, providing good hydration. Plus, the price was so affordable that I'm planning to buy it again next time I go to Japan! The product is soft and applies moistly, but it doesn't have much staining power, so it gets used up quickly like a lip balm. It also has the downside of melting when the weather is hot. Moreover, the case tends to come apart easily - you could say it's not very durable.
