When applied to the aegyo-sal (under-eye area), it has a slight white cast that looks absolutely gorgeous. Unlike other glitters, Holika Holika products don't just add shimmer, they also provide color payoff like eyeshadow. It's as if you've applied an aegyo-sal stick and then topped it with glitter. Sometimes when you only use glitter, it can look messy as it mixes with darker skin tones underneath. However, Holika Holika products have a noticeable, soft presence that makes them irreplaceable compared to other sparkly products. It doesn't feel watery but adheres like glue, which contributes to its good staying power.
ConsWhile it looks pretty at night or under artificial lighting, it might appear too intense in natural daylight or midday. For those occasions, I prefer using more subtle glitters.

This Holika one is especially great in terms of volume and price. The glitter particles aren't too large, so it's not overly flashy, making it perfect for daily use. The base color is a soft, delicate pink that's not too intense and complements any makeup look effortlessly. It's an item I find myself reaching for often!
ConsThe brush isn't optimized for applying to the aegyo sal (under-eye puff), so if you want to use it there, you'll need a separate brush or cotton swab.

While Stila's is incredibly sparkly, it was too much for me, so I gave it away. For those of us who don't suit heavy eye makeup or lots of glitter, this is perfect. Just a tiny dab in the center of your aegyo-sal (under-eye area) adds a subtle prettiness that lifts a matte look without being over-the-top. When applied lightly, the pink isn't too noticeable, but the subtle sheen with mainly silver pearl suits cool skin tones well. Honestly, with all the overly flashy glitters out there with huge particles, I've been sticking to matte looks. But this one is just right - I'll probably use it daily (just a tiny ant-sized amount though!).
ConsThe applicator is identical to Stila's, so you really need to control the amount. If you swipe it on like typical glitter, you'll end up with silver herring under your eyes, visible from 100 meters away! I got a bit greedy today and applied slightly more, which didn't look great. Another downside seems to be its staying power. It looks ethereal at first, but gradually fades, spreads, and gets messy.
TipI've avoided glitter eyeshadows because they often look messy. The larger the glittery area, the stranger it looks. Powder types are prone to fallout and hard to apply precisely, while the trendy sparkle-packed glitters look overwhelming even in tiny amounts. With this one, apply the tiniest dot just below your iris, gently blend it to match your eye length, and keep it above your aegyo-sal. This technique worked well for me, even though I usually can't pull off glitter!

While shade 2 has a rose gold hue, shade 9 Peach Crush gives off a pink coral vibe. For those with deep undertones and bright complexions, you won't regret choosing either shade 2 or 9. Personally, I'm more drawn to the pink tones, so I prefer shade 9 Peach Crush. I use it to highlight my aegyo sal (under-eye area), and depending on how much I apply, I can create either a subtle or glamorous look. The color payoff is great, the pearl size is just right, and it applies evenly. As expected from this affordable Stila dupe, it's good enough to repurchase!
ConsThe brush is quite large, making it challenging to apply precisely. Controlling the amount is crucial!
TipTry applying it with a cotton swab for easier control and more precise application. Those with deep undertones, this one's for you!

It has a lovely pink undertone. The rosy hue would pair beautifully with a dress or when you want to look more vibrant. The ingredients are good, and it absorbs well with nice adherence to the skin!
ConsIt tends to clump when using the built-in applicator. I recommend using a brush or cotton swab instead.

When applied to the eyes, it creates a sparkling, pretty effect. It's probably the best under-eye glitter I've used so far.
ConsBeing a liquid formula, it's not easy to control the amount. Also, the glitter particles tend to clump together.

Highly recommended for aegyo-sal (under-eye area). It's a pink shade that works well for warm skin tones. The sparkle is unbeatable!
ConsIt might be a bit too flashy for some. Definitely not an everyday item, but perfect for those days when you're going all out with your makeup, hair, and contacts. The staying power is slightly lacking, but not significantly so. It's not difficult to use by any means.
TipPair this with the Etude cherry blossom palette and Holika Holika Glitter #2 Rose Burst(?), and you've got the ultimate pink makeup look!

I like that the shimmer particles aren't overly large. When applied to the eyelids, it feels refreshingly cool and absorbs well. The staying power is also pretty decent.
ConsIt tends to transfer quite a bit, so you need to be careful not to get it on your eyebrows when applying.
