It applies beautifully to the aegyo sal (under-eye area), gliding on smoothly. The glitter is absolutely stunning, giving a sparkling, eye-catching effect. The staying power is pretty decent too. So far, I haven't found any drawbacks. It's a product I really like. - gy******Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 5, 2024
It sparkles beautifully. When applied to the eyes, it looks gorgeous. The tendency to smudge easily might be a bit disappointing. The color isn't particularly vibrant. - sr***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 19, 2023
It's a peach crush, but when you feel the deep undertone, it has a pink hue. When applied to the aegyo-sal (under-eye area), it has a slight white cast that looks absolutely gorgeous. Unlike other glitters, Holika Holika products don't just add shimmer, they also provide color payoff like eyeshadow. It's as if you've applied an aegyo-sal stick and then topped it with glitter. Sometimes when you only use glitter, it can look messy as it mixes with darker skin tones underneath. However, Holika Holika products have a noticeable, soft presence that makes them irreplaceable compared to other sparkly products. It doesn't feel watery but adheres like glue, which contributes to its good staying power. While it looks pretty at night or under artificial lighting, it might appear too intense in natural daylight or midday. For those occasions, I prefer using more subtle glitters. - fi**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2023
I tend to favor liquid glitters as they don't shed glitter particles and look clean. This Holika one is especially great in terms of volume and price. The glitter particles aren't too large, so it's not overly flashy, making it perfect for daily use. The base color is a soft, delicate pink that's not too intense and complements any makeup look effortlessly. It's an item I find myself reaching for often! The brush isn't optimized for applying to the aegyo sal (under-eye puff), so if you want to use it there, you'll need a separate brush or cotton swab. - ps*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2023
The color is absolutely gorgeous. It applies beautifully and stays put without fading for hours. There's nothing to dislike. I just hope they don't discontinue it. If they come out with an even softer pink shade, I'll buy it in a heartbeat! Grab it when it's on sale. Be careful with the amount you apply, as it can be quite pigmented. A little goes a long way. - ye*******Combination SkinAtopic SkinApr 15, 2023
It has a slightly grainy texture, but surprisingly, you can apply it over large areas without feeling heavy When you pat it on, it feels like it's removing the base eyeshadow you've already applied - sd***Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2023
This Stila dupe was causing a frenzy, but it wasn't sold near me. I couldn't contain my curiosity and bought it right away! It applies beautifully even on my cool-toned skin, and most importantly, its staying power is fantastic! Actually, this is my second time purchasing it. It's become my holy grail, so I plan to keep using it. The thick wand applicator dispenses too much product. Because of this, you have to spread it with a separate brush, which is a bit of a hassle. - gi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2022
A peachy shade with glitter that seems suitable for both warm and cool skin tones. It's absolutely gorgeous! Depending on the angle, it can sometimes appear just white. Make sure to blend it out well. The shade is a 9 out of 10 for its peachy tone! - tl*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2021
It's similar to that famous Stila one! While Stila's is incredibly sparkly, it was too much for me, so I gave it away. For those of us who don't suit heavy eye makeup or lots of glitter, this is perfect. Just a tiny dab in the center of your aegyo-sal (under-eye area) adds a subtle prettiness that lifts a matte look without being over-the-top. When applied lightly, the pink isn't too noticeable, but the subtle sheen with mainly silver pearl suits cool skin tones well. Honestly, with all the overly flashy glitters out there with huge particles, I've been sticking to matte looks. But this one is just right - I'll probably use it daily (just a tiny ant-sized amount though!). The applicator is identical to Stila's, so you really need to control the amount. If you swipe it on like typical glitter, you'll end up with silver herring under your eyes, visible from 100 meters away! I got a bit greedy today and applied slightly more, which didn't look great. Another downside seems to be its staying power. It looks ethereal at first, but gradually fades, spreads, and gets messy. I've avoided glitter eyeshadows because they often look messy. The larger the glittery area, the stranger it looks. Powder types are prone to fallout and hard to apply precisely, while the trendy sparkle-packed glitters look overwhelming even in tiny amounts. With this one, apply the tiniest dot just below your iris, gently blend it to match your eye length, and keep it above your aegyo-sal. This technique worked well for me, even though I usually can't pull off glitter! - ky******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2021
The color payoff is incredible. As someone who loves bold makeup, I'm all for it. It's also great that it's not very sticky. I wish there were more color options available. It would be nice to have a wider range for creating various smoky eye looks.
