The Woodbury eyeliner I used by chance was a pencil type, so it was easy to draw with. Pencils are more prone to smudging than liquid or gel eyeliners, but the smudging was subtle, like a shadow, and when I blended it with eyeshadow, the smudging was even less noticeable. Eventually, I just started using Woodbury for my entire eye makeup.
ConsThe downside is that it needs to be sharpened. As a pencil, it has a crumbly texture, so to speak. That's why it feels like it wears down quickly and applies thickly. In the waterline, it doesn't apply as precisely.
TipI don't completely fill in my eyes with eyeliner, but rather use it just to create an eyelid line. For the rest, I blend the eyeliner and eyeshadow to create a soft, shadowy effect. This way, it's less likely to look overly harsh and my eyes appear more defined. The pencil format is great for precisely defining the eyelid.
