It absorbs smoothly and feels moisturizing, yet finishes with a matte look! The color payoff is vibrant, and the staying power is pretty decent. I wish the color was a bit deeper, it would have been even prettier. But more than that, I'm not sure if it's supposed to smell this way, but the scent is really off-putting. Also, it's best to exfoliate your lips well and make sure they're hydrated before applying. My lips felt super soft and there was hardly any staining. The staying power is amazing! I can't think of any downsides, honestly. I really enjoyed using it. The only slight inconvenience is that it can be a bit tough to remove. I'd recommend this more for cool-toned skin rather than warm-toned. The color payoff is great and the shade is beautiful. I love how my lips feel velvety after it sets. It's also nice that it doesn't stain. The staying power is terrible! I guess that's inevitable since it doesn't stain. It transfers easily to teeth, leaves marks when eating, and turns cups purple. Before it sets, it feels like you've slathered on oil, which is really unpleasant. Gradient application is also difficult. Since the staying power is so poor, make sure to use a lip fixer if you have one.
