The application is average.
ConsThe fragrance is not great, it smells like the first floor of a department store. It's sticky. There's a bit of a drag, so you have to pat it in, which is unavoidable with a physical sunscreen.

The mild ingredients were why I bought it, and it seems to be as good as I expected. I didn't experience any particular trouble after applying it.
ConsAs it's a mineral sunscreen, the application is not very smooth. When you apply and rub it in, it leaves a whitish cast. There are sun sticks that can be used before makeup, but this one is not one of them. You should only use this when wearing no makeup.

It seems a bit better than stick sunscreens in terms of white cast and application feel. There's no irritation, and I didn't get a single pimple on my cheeks even after wearing this and a mask. This is amazing for my acne-prone skin..
ConsThe scent is not very appealing to me personally. I really prefer unscented products, but the scent fades quickly.

Overall, the main advantages of this sunscreen product seem to be its suitability for sensitive, acne-prone skin without causing irritation or breakouts, the smooth and non-greasy application, and the lack of eye irritation.
ConsBased on your additional feedback, it seems this sunscreen product was not a good fit for your oily skin type: - The white cast/chalky appearance was extremely severe, even leaving a visible white streak when applied. - The product did not absorb well into the skin, but rather just sat on the surface, feeling greasy and heavy. - This led to issues like emphasizing fine lines/wrinkles, accentuating dry patches and flakiness, and an overall uncomfortable, oily feeling on the skin. - When trying to apply foundation/cushion on top, the sunscreen caused the makeup to break up and pill. - Even adjusting your skincare routine did not seem to help mitigate the issues with this sunscreen. It sounds like this sunscreen was simply not compatible with your oily, sensitive skin type, despite your father's recommendation. The heavy, greasy texture and severe white cast were major problems. Using a more lightweight, mattifying sunscreen formulated for oily skin may be a better option for you. The application issues you experienced were likely not due to improper use, but rather the unsuitability of this particular product for your skin type.
TipBased on your additional feedback, it seems this sunscreen product may work better for those looking to cover tone differences on areas like the neck, rather than the face. The key points are: - The severe white cast and heavy, greasy texture of this sunscreen made it unsuitable for your oily, sensitive facial skin. - However, for those looking to even out tone differences on areas like the neck, this sunscreen may still be a viable option. - The prominent white cast and lack of absorption could be less problematic on larger body areas compared to the face. - So while this sunscreen did not work well for your facial application, it may still be worth considering for those seeking to cover discoloration on the neck or other body parts. The suitability really seems to depend on the specific skin type and application area. For your oily facial skin, this sunscreen was problematic, but it could potentially work better for those targeting tone differences on larger body surfaces.

ConsThere is some transfer, as it's quite moisturizing Recommended for sensitive (atopic or folliculitis) skin Oily skin types may find it too heavy to handle the oil
TipI just use this alone as a tone-up product, and finish with a light dab with an Espoir sponge The self-tinting effect is not bad When I reapply it twice during a 5-hour wear, there's no stinging or redness

ConsThere was some white cast, so it wasn't ideal to just slather it on. For dry skin types, it may have lacked sufficient moisture, and for oily skin types, it might have felt too greasy, so I didn't think it would be suitable for everyone.
TipAs an oily-skinned individual, I purchased the sun stick and after applying it, I would dab it with a cushion puff and then set it with powder to achieve a smooth, non-greasy finish!

I like it. (Since everyone's skin type is different) I've never had any breakouts, and what I like the most is that it has mineral sunscreen. I bought it after watching Dipa's video, and I've been using it consistently for about 4 bottles so far. First of all, it's a stick type, so it's convenient to quickly apply. I read other reviews saying it stings the eyes, but in my case, I have severe dark circles and a lot of freckles around my face, so I apply it all over my face. If your eyes feel stinging, try applying it on your hands first and then to your face. If it still stings, avoid the eye area. Even if a product is great, there's no product that 100% satisfies everyone, so I took off one star.
ConsSince it's a mineral sunscreen, some white cast is unavoidable. I use a black cotton mask because of my skin issues, and sometimes when I apply it just once, it gets a bit cakey and transfers to my nails and the mask. But I think it's just a minor issue, and I can just gently pat it down. The real inconvenience is that it's a stick type, so no matter how much I use, there's always some left inside that I can't use up and have to throw away. That's why I'm thinking of trying to melt the remaining product in the old one and mixing it with the new one I just bought. Honestly, it's such a waste to not be able to use it all, especially for a product that works well for me. That's why I switched to other products and then came back to this one... I wish all sunscreen stick products were designed better so that consumers can use them up completely.
TipIt's more of a tip than a hack, but at first, I just patted it on with my hands, and today I tried patting it with a puff. It doesn't seem too bad, but I'm not sure yet. I'll try patting it more with the puff. P.S. I feel like I'm constantly experimenting to find the right product for me. Especially for us women, when we buy a product that others say is good and it doesn't work for us, it's just a waste of money. It's also awkward to throw away the product or not use it. There are so many cosmetic products like that. That's why I'm just sticking to the products that work for me and, as I mentioned before, trying to find ways to use them more conveniently, even if it means putting up with some inconveniences. It's better than dealing with breakouts... I wish everyone could have porcelain-like skin, though! 👍🏻

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsTo cut to the chase, I'll be using this product for the rest of my life unless it undergoes a significant change. Since it's a Hwahae Trial Reviewer-recommended product, I'm not too concerned about the ingredients and have been using it. Even with my sensitive and aroma oil-allergic skin, I haven't experienced any skin troubles. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it pairs well with my Bobbi Brown foundation. While the scent isn't exceptional, it's quite pleasant. On days when I don't wear makeup, I just apply this and I'm good to go. I can even just put on lipstick and head out without worrying too much. Although there's a concern about white cast with mineral sunscreens, as long as I apply it evenly, it just provides a nice skin-perfecting effect. The stick format is also great as it doesn't get all over my hands. Most importantly, as someone with sensitive and allergic skin, the options for suitable sunscreens are quite limited, but this one is a perfect match for me without any trouble.
ConsThe only downside is that the fragrance, although used, doesn't quite appeal to me. However, it's a minor issue that I can easily overlook. There is some white cast, but it's manageable if I apply it well. My skin tone is on the slightly warmer side, and the color works well for me. When I apply the Care Zone Sun Stick and then foundation, my original skin tone appears a bit brighter, but it's not to the point of being a concern.
TipI have combination skin that's prone to dryness, and the Care Zone Sun Stick seems to create a bit of a protective coating on my skin, helping to prevent moisture loss. The cap also closes securely, making it convenient to carry around and reapply as needed. However, I haven't tried using it on top of foundation. I've only used it on bare skin as a standalone sunscreen.

ConsIt feels a bit greasy..I know the mineral sunscreen can leave a white cast, but I feel like I don't really need to use this sunstick if I have to spread it out with my hands again.

There are no breakouts.
ConsIt's too oily. If you apply more, it becomes an oil explosion. Even when used instead of sunscreen, the oiliness is ridiculous. Honestly, as a dry skin type, I don't think I can use this.
