Even in winter, you might notice your skin getting subtly tanned after going outside without protection. Remember, sunscreen should be applied by squeezing some onto your hand first. For sun cushions, you can pat them directly onto your face like a compact, but be careful with the amount! Also, don't forget to wash your cushion puff regularly. After considering my options, a sun stick caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. Being a mineral sunscreen, it's gentle and non-irritating. It's great for all skin types, including super sensitive skin. There's hardly any scent, making it perfect for those who are sensitive to cosmetic fragrances.
ConsAfter initial application, as time passes, an oily feeling starts to creep up, and my hair tends to stick to my face. When you first open it, you'll notice an extra white cap under the main lid. It's probably there to prevent dust from getting in. However, after using it a few times, you might want to keep using this white cap to keep dust out, but it becomes quite difficult to put back on. In terms of quantity and price, it seems to be on par with other brands in the market.

It's fairly easy to apply.
ConsI wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin. It tends to leave quite a bit of white residue.

ConsThe white cast is quite noticeable, so you need to spread it well with your hands. It's a bit disappointing. It doesn't come off easily, so you'll need to put some effort into removing it.

It's so convenient to apply on-the-go. It's practically unscented, which is great for those sensitive to fragrances. Since it was recommended by Director Pi, I trust that the ingredients are high-quality. I experienced no irritation at all, and it didn't sting my eyes either.
ConsWhile I like that it applies thinly, I'm not sure if it provides adequate sun protection.

I love that it doesn't sting my eyes, even with the mineral filters. It applies smoothly without irritating the skin, making it convenient to use. I've been using it in spring and winter, and it doesn't feel greasy or create shine. When used alone without BB cream, there's no white cast and it's comfortable to wear. (This applies when not reapplying. However, reapplication may cause some white cast.)
ConsWhen trying to reapply the sunstick over makeup in the afternoon, the white cast from the sunstick tends to mix with the BB cream color, making the skin look a bit... dirty, I guess? Still, gently patting it helps to blend it in better. Also, in summer it can get a bit shiny, so I definitely need to use a no-sebum powder. It's not the best choice for summer.
TipMy skin looks more natural when I use this sunscreen alone without BB cream.

Being a sunstick, it's easy to use. I bought it because of its gentle ingredients, and it seems to live up to that claim. I didn't experience any blemishes after using it.
ConsAs it's a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't absorb well. When you apply and rub it in, it leaves a white cast. Unlike some sunsticks that can be used under makeup, this one isn't suitable for that. It's best used on bare skin when you're only applying sunscreen.

It's great that there's an extra protective cap under the lid, which helps keep things clean during use.
ConsThe slight white cast is a bit disappointing, as you end up having to pat it in with your hands to blend it properly.

It seems to have a slightly better finish and feel compared to the Makeprism stick. What's truly remarkable is that it's non-irritating - I wore a mask over it and didn't get a single blemish on my cheeks. For someone with acne-prone skin like me, that's amazing!
ConsPersonally, I'm not a fan of the scent when applied. I generally prefer fragrance-free products. However, the smell does dissipate quickly.

Purchased after watching Director Pi's video. Skin type: Dry with deep dehydration, pore-rich, facial fuzz galore, prone to redness and seasonal blemishes. Velence oil-moisture balance doesn't suit me, and I'm susceptible to tiny bumps. Experience: Glides on smoothly despite being a stick. No irritation, and true to its mineral nature, it evens skin tone. Being easily washable, a foam cleanse followed by an exfoliating toner is sufficient. The stick format makes reapplication convenient, but I needed to blend it a bit with my fingers to avoid clumping. It brightens progressively - my face keeps getting lighter! For multiple applications, I'd recommend cleansing with water or using an exfoliating toner, then moisturizing before reapplying. Being easily washable, I found myself reapplying more often in this sweaty season. No eye irritation, no skin irritation, no blemishes. Would repurchase. For now, this is my go-to for face. I'll use Scinic Safe Aqua for hands and body.
ConsWith each reapplication, I kept getting progressively paler. Some clumping and pilling occurs. Caution for those with a lot of facial hair - you might end up with a white beard!
TipThe stick format is convenient for both carrying and reapplying. Not suitable over makeup. Didn't pair well with foundation. More suitable for foundation-free days. The easy removal is definitely its best feature.

After a few hours (when applied in the morning and checked around noon or afternoon), it naturally produces a slight oiliness that blends with the brightening effect, making your skin look clear and translucent - wow! No burning sensation around the eyes.
ConsInitially, there's a white cast that can make your face and neck look disconnected if not blended properly. When applied in the morning, by evening it can become too oily, making your face look dull and potentially causing blemishes due to excess oil.
TipWhen first applying, use your hands to spread it evenly without creating visible borders. To control oiliness, try using a no-sebum powder.
