While it doesn't lather much, I love how gentle it is on my skin. Highly recommended! The downside is that after washing my hair, it feels a bit too stiff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 25, 2017
The fragrance was surprisingly pleasant, exceeding my expectations. I also purchased it because the ingredient list looked gentle on the skin. It really varies from person to person... After suffering from seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp, I tried a shampoo that helped, but it had an unpleasant smell. So I bought this one instead. There's definitely a noticeable difference in how my hair feels after rinsing. This one leaves a feeling like it's not fully rinsed out, and I occasionally get blemishes on the back of my head again. I've gone back to using my original shampoo, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 11, 2017
As a pregnant woman, I switched to a natural shampoo. There's hardly any lather, but that's fine since it's free of harmful ingredients. It doesn't damage my hair and works well. There's almost no scent, which is great for those with sensitivities. My hair tends to tangle a bit when drying, but surprisingly, it feels fine once completely dry. There's a very slight feeling of dryness, but applying some oil takes care of that. It seems a bit pricey for the amount you get. I wish they'd offer a larger size. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 7, 2016
It doesn't have a scent and doesn't lather much, but I feel like my hair is getting softer while using this... My scalp feels healthier too. I plan to use this for my daughter when she grows up. The price is too high for the amount you get. I wish they'd either increase the volume or lower the price a bit. For the first wash, squeeze out a bit and rinse it off after applying it roughly to your hair. Then, for the second wash, squeeze out more and you'll get a good lather. - ch******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsAug 8, 2016
As someone who's usually too lazy to use anything but shampoo, I was pleasantly surprised that this made my hair feel as soft as if I'd used conditioner. I've tried various organic shampoos, but this is the one I've settled on. (However, I recently tried the product again and it seems the formula may have changed. It's become very stiff. I'm withdrawing my recommendation...) The bottle is small and runs out quickly. It lathers quite well and has a slight herbal scent, which mostly disappears after rinsing. It seems more suitable for dry hair rather than oily scalps. Focus on massaging it into your scalp rather than the ends of your hair, and rinse thoroughly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2016
While the Velvet Shampoo from Chorok Village is good, this one definitely reduced hair loss more! My mom bought it and I've been using it for over two months now! It feels a bit stiff at first, but if you use it consistently without conditioner, you'll notice your hair becoming softer! It's a good product, but I wish it had a fragrance. Without a scent, it's somewhat similar to EM soap. Wet your hair thoroughly and start lathering from the scalp, then rinse clean.
