This is my first time trying a primer, and I'm definitely satisfied with this product. There's a noticeable difference between using it and not using it. After application, my base makeup adheres perfectly. While I don't have any specific complaints, those who dislike scented products might not be fond of this one. It has a slight fragrance that reminds me of perfume. - 5m********Dry SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2025
Here's a photo right after applying primer and makeup! My skin type: extremely dry, no blemishes, not sensitive at all, shade 21. I bought it on Ably for about 8000 won. I applied sunscreen first, then the primer on my T-zone, followed by foundation. Despite being a primer, which dry skin types often avoid due to dryness, I didn't feel any dryness at all even with my extremely dry skin. The primer's texture is like a treatment...? It wasn't runny and applied smoothly. I don't have many pores, but my skin texture and makeup longevity aren't great, so I bought this to maintain lasting power and achieve that baby-skin look. There's quite a difference between using and not using the primer, and makeup applies well after using it. It makes the skin look smooth! Above all, the packaging is so luxuriously beautiful. And the fragrance of this primer... it's such a sweet shampoo scent that I wish they'd release it as a perfume. I definitely plan to repurchase! The quantity is a bit disappointing for the price, and it feels like a shame to use it all over the face given the amount. I recommend applying it with a brush! - qk**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
I used to use a cheap primer that would flake off like crazy... This one doesn't do that at all. It seems to fill in pores really well. If you have large pores, you'll definitely notice a big difference! To be honest, I don't reach for it often. I only apply it to my nose on important days. - to********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 6, 2025

1. It fills in pores effectively, making your makeup look even more beautiful. 2. It applies smoothly and moisturizes like an emulsion, adhering to the skin in a thin layer. I didn't experience any blemishes and found it worked really well when I used it, so I don't have any complaints. - je*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedDec 31, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin. As I've gotten older, my makeup just wouldn't sit right, even with high-end products. I don't typically wear heavy makeup, so I never used primers before. But after getting a recommendation, I tried this one. Now, I can't do my makeup without it. Highly recommend! I didn't experience any particular discomfort, so I have absolutely no complaints. I apply this product after my sunscreen. Then I follow up with foundation or cushion, and it creates a flawless skin finish. The best part? It barely budges, even after hours of wear. - ai*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2024
Absolutely lovely. It absorbs well without any sticky feeling. Leaves your complexion looking fresh, not oily. No major drawbacks. The only issue is that it only comes in a small size. - te*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessAug 3, 2024
It does a decent job of concealing pores. Works best when used with other products from the same brand. While it's fine for winter, I wouldn't recommend it for summer. You might want to try a different brand. - ki************Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 6, 2024
Review: A'PIEU Startup Pore Primer ✓ Affordable and smooth primer • Applies evenly with great adherence • Non-sticky with a matte finish • Effectively fills pores for a flawless makeup application • Has a slight scent but not bothersome • Be cautious not to apply too much to avoid pilling I needed a primer for my large pores and found this affordable option from A'PIEU. After using it, I'm impressed by its smooth texture and matte finish. It fills in pores well, allowing for a clean makeup application. There's a noticeable difference in makeup longevity between days with and without primer (of course, it lasts longer with primer!). As this is my first primer, I can't compare it to others, but I use it every time I apply makeup. It's great value for money. If you find primer prices daunting, I gently recommend giving this product a try! The main drawback is that it can pill if you apply too much. Due to the nature of primers, overapplication can lead to pilling and cause your foundation to look patchy, so it's crucial to use only a small amount. To overcome this issue, I've started using a spatula instead of my fingers. Using a spatula allows for a thin, even application of the primer on the skin, resulting in a smoother complexion. As a bonus, it helps fill in pores even more effectively. - qa*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMay 15, 2024
Affordable price, lightweight application, and a moisturizing formula make this product perfect for beginners! Even when applied generously on areas prone to excess oil like the nose and forehead, it didn't cause any blemishes! Layering base products on top doesn't result in any pilling or separation of makeup! It fails to fill in pores or uneven texture... Disappointing in the most crucial aspect... The reason for the low score despite its many advantages... Great as a makeup base substitute! It creates a smooth complexion that helps subsequent makeup adhere well. By controlling sweat and oil, it also extends the wear time of your base makeup. To conceal pores, try mixing BB cream with primer. The difference in particle sizes between BB cream and primer helps cover imperfections to some extent.
