1. It leaves your skin feeling soft and powdery. This would be great for those with oily skin types. 2. It has a brightening effect. If you have a fair complexion, it should give you a natural-looking glow. 1. While it does leave a powdery finish, some people might find it drying. It could potentially emphasize dead skin cells or cause pilling. 2. For me, it was a bit too light, resulting in an unnatural brightening effect. 1. It's advisable to establish a solid skincare routine before using this product. This should help minimize any dryness and allow for a more natural application. - ju***********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresJun 8, 2021
Given the current situation, tone-up makeup is more popular than foundation or cushions. With the sun getting stronger, I decided to buy this for my kids who need sun protection too. - The compact size makes it convenient to carry. - The ingredients are gentle on the skin. Other than that... - It's not a sponge type but a tension type(?). When the kids try to apply it themselves and press hard, the product leaks out from the sides. It can't be put back in, which is such a waste. - The white cast is way too intense. As time passes, it seems to settle into the pores as white powder. - It's difficult to control the amount. If you apply just a bit too much, it turns ghostly white like kabuki makeup. It's challenging to use. - Being a tension-type cushion, when it's almost finished, you have to scrape the corners to use it up, which is inconvenient. If it were a sponge type, you could just flip it over. - The part that touches the tension pad easily collects dust-like particles, which doesn't seem very hygienic. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 22, 2020
When applied in the right amount, it beautifully evens skin tone and leaves skin feeling soft and matte. It's oil-free and adheres well to the skin, giving a firm, smooth feeling. Makes for an excellent daily sunscreen. The color is quite white, so it needs to be applied evenly. It can also feel a bit drying on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 27, 2020
I love how it keeps my skin feeling soft and doesn't break down easily. It's great that it brightens my complexion too! While it claims to even skin tone, it leaves quite a noticeable white cast! It looks like I'm wearing foundation even with just this on! Apply it in small amounts. Be careful when using a puff, as pressing too hard can dispense too much product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2020
While there's a slight white cast, I love how it beautifully brightens my complexion. It's gentle and applies with a soft, powdery finish. I appreciate that it's moisturizing and doesn't pill, which is great. Sometimes it can be a bit inconvenient to use because it makes my skin look quite pale. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2020
Evens skin tone effectively Gentle on the skin Doesn't cause blemishes Long-lasting The cushion gets dirty quickly Difficult to control the amount Everything else about it is good except for these points Be sure to control the amount used - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2020
With just a light touch in controlling the amount, it naturally brightens your complexion. I was worried because I have a lot of redness, but if you struggle with redness too, give this a try! It's great for the skin and doesn't cause any blemishes. Dust often gets trapped in the puff and mesh. If you don't control the amount carefully, you'll end up with the dreaded cakey look! - tl********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsApr 11, 2020
For those in a hurry, just focus on the purple heart sections! 1. Brightening effect It does a great job at evening out skin tone. There's a slight white cast, but if applied correctly, it beautifully brightens your complexion as if it's your natural skin tone. Just remember to control the amount! 💜(With proper application) It beautifully evens out your skin tone💜 2. Finish The finish is wonderfully matte! Some products can feel greasy or sticky, but this one leaves a pleasantly smooth finish. I personally prefer a matte finish, but if you don't, you can always layer your skincare or spritz some facial mist after application. 💜Leaves a smooth, matte finish💜 3. Mesh net Thanks to the mesh net, the product doesn't clump or apply unevenly. It dispenses the product uniformly, making application a breeze! 💜Dispenses product evenly💜 4. Ingredients Despite my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes during the two weeks I used it! Looking at the ingredient list, I didn't spot any problematic components. This aspect makes me feel confident about using it! 💜Suitable even for sensitive skin!💜 1. White cast First off, the white cast is quite noticeable :( While I mentioned it brightens the skin tone earlier, that's only when applied perfectly. If you apply just a tad too much, your face looks like it's floating. You really need to apply it in thin, gradual layers... 💜The white cast is very pronounced💜 2. Durability issues The puff storage area feels a bit flimsy... Sometimes I open it too forcefully without thinking, and it makes me nervous every time. Also, the puff and mesh net get dirty easily... As you apply, the product tends to clump, and I think the puff contributes to this issue. 💜The puff is subpar💜 3. Dryness I don't have dry skin and I prefer a matte finish, so it doesn't bother me. However, those with dry skin might find it emphasizes flakiness. But if you layer too much skincare underneath, it can pill... I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin 😥 💜Not recommended for dry skin💜 It seems you need to apply thin, multiple layers... ⭐🌟Important note!! Not just for the first use, but every time you use it, don't press down on it like other cushions. Instead, gently place and lift the puff. Otherwise, too much product comes out at once and it's a disaster... 🌟⭐ Looking at the third photo, that's with less pressure than you'd use on a regular cushion. The fourth photo shows what you get with one gentle tap. The fifth photo is how it looks when applied, and the last photo shows the result after using the small amount left over from the fifth photo... As you can see, if you're not careful, it can go wrong... Please be cautious... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2020
First off, the ingredients are great! And it leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft and powdery - like you've just dusted on some finishing powder. However, as someone with dry skin, this could be either a pro or a con. If you have skin like mine that doesn't produce much oil, you might want to be cautious. I was shocked when I first applied this! It's not skin-colored, but more like a white powder. Make sure to blend it evenly all over your face. It seems you should hydrate your skin well before applying this product. - ke******Normal SkinMar 1, 2020
This product is perfect for a quick application before heading to school or stepping out for a quick errand! The size is just right to pop into your bag and carry around. Being a jelly sun cushion, the cream feels really firm and seems to adhere well to the skin. As someone with combination dry skin, I was skeptical when I bought this. Unfortunately, it left a severe white cast, didn't spread easily, and even accentuated dead skin cells. It's not a product I reach for often. The quality seems to fall short compared to its price. The puff and mesh get dirty too quickly. This might work well for those with oily skin, but if you have combination dry skin like me, try mixing it with an emulsion! I applied it after spraying a ton of face mist.
