I used to use the Roxy* hand cream that I received as a gift, but after using it up, I just used any random hand cream I had at home, and they were all duds... The moisturization and ingredients were not good at all. Then I happened to see an ad for the Sev hand cream, which is a recent release, so there were hardly any reviews, and I was hesitant to just buy and use it. But I heard the ingredients are good and it has a fruit scent, so I decided to just go for it and see. The moisturizing power is not bad. Other hand creams tend to start feeling dry again after a while, but the Sev one doesn't seem to have that issue. Of course, I haven't used it for that long, so I'll have to use it more to really know. I'll add more to the review after using it outside as well. The ingredients are good. Even though I don't have super sensitive skin, whenever I do get a breakout, it tends to last a long time. I was really surprised to see that the hand creams I was using before had quite a few harmful ingredients. I had the impression that hand creams with bad ingredients = great moisturization, but the Sev hand cream has good ingredients and still provides pretty good moisturization, which I like.
Cons
Price - It's on the expensive side When you consider the ingredients, you think the high price is justified, but then you realize it's still quite expensive for the amount you get... Since it's an imported product, that probably contributes to the high price, but it is still burdensome. Scent - What is this smell...? I tend to be particular about scents, especially liking fruity ones. So when I bought this, I was excited that it was supposed to have a refreshing blood orange scent, and with the good ingredients, I thought the scent would be great too. But... it's not really refreshing or orange-like at all. It's more like a dull floral scent? Or maybe I just haven't experienced a true blood orange scent before. Anyway, it's definitely not the fruity scent I was hoping for. Texture - Feels oily?... The moisturizing effect is not bad, but when I first apply it, it feels like I've put oil on my hands. It does get better over time, but the initial feeling is just not something I can get used to easily. Amount - It's little... Considering the price, the amount is quite small. Since I tend to wash my hands frequently, I go through hand creams quickly, and this one seems significantly less than other hand creams. Of course, those with less product may not be as effective, but for me, this small amount at this price is a bit burdensome.
